Neat, useful gift

Received this neat item from a generous member of another forum and along with my caliper, has really helped me with identifying cigars, especially with the holes for measuring rg as the foot of almost all cigars is never perfectly round, and will measure differently depending on how its positioned in the caliper.

Plus, its very nice looking hanging on my wall to add to my cigar decorating motif.

He said he got it from a shop owner about 20 years ago.

I think its pretty neat and very useful.

Yeah, I was quite surprised when I got it.

Really helpful in identifying rg. Even better than my caliper.

Plus it has a scale and listing of vitolas by dimensions

All he told me was that he was sending me something to help me in id'ing gifted cigars I occasionally receive, and have mentioned my difficulties in identifying them before.

I was extremely surprised when I saw the size of the box when it arrived, and loved it at first sight. Very thankful for it.

Was expecting something more like a card with a ruler and rg holes I have seen for sale before, so I was extremely surprised.

Really helps in decorating my room too, to give it a much less institutional feel and appearance as my escape from the reality of living in an assisted living facility, likely for the rest of my life.
Only had a few cigar decorations in my room and on my door.

If anyone knows of a particularly good site for cigar related decorations for sale, it would be greatly appreciated.
