Monte Cristo Social Club

I think there was a thread on the fish forum about this so I will just continue it here. Monte Cristo has a web site for their social club. You joined and got a free punch. You can look at their news and share info about smokes etc. Well I joined and because I didnt use my name as it shows on a credit card, they didnt verify my age and I didnt get the punch. Well months go by and I get the social club card in the mail but no punch. I browse the club web site anyway and about Christmas I get the letter saying my punch is on the way. Months go by and no punch and then today, I get it.

It is a beautiful key shaped thing gold colored with the montecristo symbol all over and the symbol encased in lucite or something at the head in a circle. I look at it and say ok, now what. I have never had or used a punch before. Finally I twist the head and the punch comes out the end of the key!. Now I am in business. lol

I have never used a punch cutter before , so today was finally a nice warm day here so I go out for a smoke and decide to use it. It worked great and the draw on my smoke ( a Oliva V) was great. Guess I never knew what I was missing by not using a punch cutter.

So if you signed up and didnt get the punch yet, just keep waiting and it will show up sooner or later. Thats my story and I am sticking with it.

I have been a member there for years and find some of the articles helpful and my punch still sits on my desk. What can I say I am a xikar fool and use the one on my lighter.

Ha me too. What a piece of junk. Who uses those? I thought that cutter was cool, but that business card holder went right in the trash. Nice gesture anyway I suppose.

I love my punch from them. It's my goto cigar tool now...

Can you sign up again? different email addy and throw in a family members physical address? Just let them know that punch is YOURS! lol.

I have the key punch- it is one of my favorite punches. I like the diameter and how sharp it is.
