    Lighters

I lost my only jet lighter today. Was in the bumper of my truck and forgot about it. Went out to look for it (even though it's a 5$ ronsin) it was given to me buy one of you bums. For me it was sentimental value. I found it about 2 blocks from my house ran over. Went home bend it back into somewhat of shape that it would close, and good as new. Any of you guys have lighters you would look for?

I have a couple vintage Pipe Zippos that I wouldn't want to lose. I'd go searching for them...

Silly, but my red Zippo I smoked all my cigs with, it was the first Zippo I ever bought...I don't really use it anymore, but it was my go to lighter from like age 13-22ish...and it was in my pocket through most of my "young and dumb" life, so I would be pretty distraught if I lost it.

If I ever get dumb enough (or, rich enough) to buy a Dunhill lighter or a Corona Old Boy, I'd be real pissed to lose it.

So, yeah, I have a couple lighters I would go searching for.

The one in this photo is not missing, but has quit working, surewould like to get it going again, so far all attempts to do so, cleaning, etc have failed to revive it.

I would probably go looking for all of my lighters.

They all hold a certain value or memory for me!

Who gave it to me, when I use them...

My cheapie lighters are attached to some great memories! Sometimes I pull out a lighter and just start laughing.

Just one of the MANY reasons my wife thinks I'm crazy.

Yeah, a couple. As a cigarette smoker, I've used Zippos for years. The one I retired two years ago was a gift from a coworker years ago. It's been to Bradford three times (love the guarantee). Now it sits in a display case with my collection of lighters. The Zippo I currently use I would also look for if lost, as it was gift from my daughter and the reason I retired the other one. The other lighter is a Vector triple flame torch that I take to monthly tastings. Love this lighter, I would miss it if it wandered off.

I have a couple that I would look for and a few I would not. The ones I would look for are mostly for sentimental reasons. My go to lighter for the last 2 years, a Black Label - El Presidente torch flat flame lighter, however I would hunt down for many reasons. First sentimental as it was a Christmas gift from my mom. Second price of replacement as it is close to a $100.00 lighter and I would not usually spend that kind of money on a lighter. Thirdly because I love it. It became my exclusive use lighter after finding out how fantastic it was to use for lighting up my cigars. It is a great lighter.

I'm a sentimental man so I appreciate the dedication to hunt down a lost lighter & bend it back into shape. No lighters left behind!

Yeah, I have a few nice lighters that I would look for if lost. But anymore I almost exclusively use a BIC. They aren't sentimental nor nostalgic, but they work.

Back in the 90's I collected lighters and after several years of collecting I had well over 100. My best one was an advertising lighter from the 50's for Mickey Mantle Bowling Lanes, Dallas TX and then a phone # like BR-549. I think it's been a while since Dallas had phone numbers like that.😎

Only one I would look for. It is a zippo my wife had engraved for me as an anniversary gift. I never use it, though that is mostly because I keep forgetting to order a butane insert for it. Every time I go to use it I have to fill it with lighter fluid again. So for now it sits on a shelf next to a few older lighters that belonged to deceased relatives and will never be used again.

I have two I would go back for: a ST DuPont torch that was a gift, and a Lotus Apollo double-torch that has become my go-to lighter. I have several Ronsons that are stashed in different places as back ups, and a few soft flames that don't work well if there is any wind, that I would just let go.

I have a few nice soft flames from my cig-smoking days, but they are in a drawer somewhere.
