Wow, Someone Knows Me
Well maybe they just liked the fact I was loyal after 10 years. I just know I sent an enigma back after emailing them and they sent me an enigma II because they didn't make or repair the enigma. I must admit it wasn't free. It cost me $5 in postage. They sent the sheath to keep it in also so the finish wouldn't look so bad in the future. Believe it or not doesn't matter to me I get nothing from them except a good product and great customer service. In return they get my loyalty. Something many other manufacturers have not been able to earn like colibri or palio.
There is an art to bombing. My aim is to perfect that art.

Okay my brother. Here are some facts. Most lighters are made in China with Chinese 10,000 light Pizo and Chinese jets which have blowouts. I deal with hundreds of stores and here the same thing from most. 1 out of every 4 Xicars come back for repair. Vecto is a good cheap lighter, but does not last. Lotus and Colibre are over priced for their quality. And Blazer is not what it used to be. The most reliable and popular lighter in almost every store I go to is the JetLine New York. They use Swiss jets and German 100,000 light Pizo electronics. It sells for $20.00 give or take $2. Triple flame version is the best. I have had several and gave them as gifts. They all still work and the one I use is five years old, been in the river twice and through the washing machine. It still lights first time, every time. They have a lifetime warranty as do the others, but the trick is not to have to use the warranty. JetLine has the best track record of all of the other brands.
Also good lighter maintenance should be used.
Use Good quality butane.
Bleed your lighter before you refill.
And use canned air to blow out jets from time to time.

Ridin' in a BoxCar
Are they still rolling in shop at Hoboken cigars? Their site is very outdated. I used to have HOBOs sent to me every now and then from a friend who would stop in there for us.
sorry about the hijack

Jetline is a solid line of lighters, and tough to beat the price. I have just been with Xikar since pre-lighter days. When it was only knives and cutters. They have always taken great care of me and I havent found a need to switch to a different manufacturer. I must admit none of mine have been in the river...yet. They both know the washing machine quite well and my cutters love the dishwasher.
