Just read this thread.Here's a way to add humidity/seasoning to the wood in the case without keeping the case in your humidor.There are perforated tubes that have an inner sleeve,also perforated, with a core of chalk (or chalk like, material) that are meant to be used to season a humidor. They are 44 ring gauge, when closed they're 4.7 inches, can be expanded to 8.75 inches. Should be fine for any case that you'd carry corona to churchill sized cigars in.I've not done this,but think you could replace the chalk with beads.Then when ready to add cigars to the, leave the tubes in a closed container, or in the humidor. And be good to go.
