I love this, it really reminds me of the first(I think) episode of James May Man Lab, he made a manly counter out of concrete.
Have you considered insetting ceramic tile into them? As in going for a pool look or maybe a Spanish tile look. Just a thought that I hope is helpful, I always like to see people making things by hand be successful...especially when they're doing quality work and these look extremely well done.

It is some great work. I really like the way concrete comes out.

They are poured into the mould upside down so not really possible to lay tile in them

Maybe you could lay the tile in first, then pour the concrete.

That's exactly what I was thinking. That's how James May did the counter in "Man Lab" though his work was no where near as good as these come out.
Either way, they're cool as hell. I wish I didn't just get an ashtray less than a month ago.

I done it lots with counters poured upside down, you need to keep them in place with spray adhesive or silicone, if not they may rise in the matrix. It would ruin your mold

I saw counter top done on one of the home improvement/DIY shows. They scattered some kind of powder in the ,old before they poured it. When they finished it had a marble look to it, turned out pretty cool
