    Govee Mini Thermometer/Hygrometer

Govee has a new Mini Thermometer/Hygrometer. Once again, I don't work for Govee and have been given nothing other than some devices to try out, and review. That said...

The new device has no display, allowing it to come in at only 1.57 inches square and 0.67 inches thick. It comes with a lanyard, for hanging.

Specifications state it to have a Swiss made sensor. Temp accuracy at ±0.36℉ and humidity at ±2%. It works on Bluetooth with a range up to 328 ft in open air.

All readings, setting of alerts, calibration, and firmware updates are done through the app available online.

The calibration feature is quick and easy, but can be a little jumpy (a few tenths of a percent).

Graphs show temperature and humidity, broken down to the hour, day, week, month, or year. They can be exported, tho I have not worked with that.

Temperature and humidity alerts can be turned on, and set by touch and slide on the screen of your phone or tablet. Once the reading falls within one percent of the set limit, it will push notifications to the app, so you can check the situation.

These are available online at Amazon https://amzn.to/2X9572i and are currently listed for $26.99
During PrimeDays they are 36% Off Code:*6YIHRC2B
There are Primeday deals on other items available up to 60% off through https://www.govee.com/primeday
Happy as if I had good sense.

Thanks George! Reasonably priced, too. For the traditionalists, I see they have one with a display.

So curious on your thoughts on this after almost a year.

I have been running xikar purotemp for a few years. But I feel I change batteries more than I should. I have 2 sensors but can only use 3. I am wondering what I might want to switch to. Mark says there are some with displays so that is a bit more appealing to me. Not sure I want something app based but ability to use app maybe nice. Idk just wondering.

I have a few Govee and a Boveda Butler. Seems they all go through batteries fairly quick.
