We all know the hatred I had for my recently tossed, and plastic-sided Xikar 3x Jet, that Xikar replaced for my all metal version.

You know how some cutters double as a cigar rest?

Combine that with setting your lighter and cutter on a small side table.

What you get is your cigar cherry melting the plastic side window of the lighter and - PFFFFFT! - a small hole lets all the butane out like rocket propellant and it launches your cigar across the patio.

Lucky it didn't ignite, but it did scare the crap outta me! And I was left without a lighter and an extinguished cigar.
