So I have a koldfront 32 dual section cooler with five drawers and one shelf. Fully stocked for a year now. Decided time to cut down my smokes and turn bottom half into wine storage to see if it would work. NOPE. since the bottom went lower temp wise I figured it was perfect place for all the various whites we have. Within 24 hours temp in bottom was steady at 45 and temp up top was steady at 64. The only issue was with such a fluctuation it created condensation and spiked humidity up top to 72%. Removed wine and brought temp back up to match top. Rh is slowly returning to normal and I've noticed no cracks or swelling of my smokes. Lesson learned I'm curious if anyone else had considered or tired this with a dual zone. Problem with putting whites in top is temp won't go low enough for favorable drinking conditions. Any ideas or does the wife get her own cooler.
