    CHEAP Storage suggestions

    ok, I have maxed out a 20, 100, another 100, and a 300ish count humidor.....

What should I do for storing arriving boxes? I'd like spanish cedar interior but do not care about the exterior at all. This is for deep long term aging.

I have a short term plan in motion but need the long term solution. Anybody make a S.C. lined cooler?

Here's the kicker... $150 limit. Money is for sticks not storage (lol).

I am expecting this Coleman Xtreme 70qt. cooler to arrive shortly:

Shipping free from Sears.com... cheaper than Amazon. (last week at least got if for $70) Got 3 cedar trays from Amazon for about $35. Including the cedar boxes I'm adding plus $75 in HCM beads... this is close to your budget. (you could use kitty litter for a cheaper rh source)

Mr. Simpson, don't you worry. I saw an episode of Matlock in a bar last night. The sound was down, but I think I got the gist of it.

Or if space is not an issue you could snag an old freezer from craigslist. Clean it up, air it out and line it with as much spanish cedar as you like. I'd imagine that woukd save you quite a bit for more cigars, assuming you have a place for a spare, unplugged freezer.

I was going to suggest a cooler/large tupperware/ammo crate but I like the freezer idea, you should do that lol.

Ziploc Weathertight storage containers are pretty reliable if you want something under $20.

No, anything that size for that price or less it is gonna be some type of container for other uses. Spanish cedar is cheap if you wanted to line it yourself, or just load up on boxes or trays. It's the same thing, just not all along the outside like a typical humidor.

I agree with this especially if you're planning on long term storage of boxes. You really don't need the extra ceder in that case.

More I think about it I think I'll go cooler and grab some boxes from the local B&M for my singles and play Tetris.

    Thanks again everybody.
