It has a foam seal and is supposed to be weatherproof, so it should be airtight or very close to it.

Have heartfelt beads in it currently and even though the pound is almost completely dry, my rh was 75% this morning as the a/c isn't working so the room temperature was 75 degrees, but both hygrometers in the container were reading 71 degrees.

Its been fine at 65% for 2 weeks, even when the a/c went out twice before, so I'm not really trusting the beads to work as they're supposed to
