I'm fairly sure that my posting the groupon on Puff.com ruined the possibility of them doing more of those. Everyone bought a ton of them and the referral chain was really long too so both Groupon and BnB probably lost a ton of money, I'd be surprised if they did another.

Oh now David - I see what you did there.
But, we don't use that language around here.

The in-house press release mentioned a "backup, scratch and dent, cheap wine cooler in the same size" you know - just in case the primary ever goes down. I mean I have to protect the investment in my drawers and sticks - that's the prudent thing to do.
It also mentioned leaving it "unplugged in the basement" with no drawers.

I'm pretty sure no one wasn't disappointed. The interwebs are blowing up Amazon right now. I'm not going to get all hung up on it, I'll just treat it like it didn't happen. It does feel like we were lied to though. The build-up was crazy, the event was the biggest letdown in recent memory.

The bad part is the item I was looking at was not prime eligible. When I was signed in, it was listed at $41.95 with 4.95 shipping, then non-prime it was listed $44.00 with free shipping. I get different vendors and all that, but different sellers popped to the top depending on whether I was signed in or not and from my prime account I either couldn't find the free shipping one or it wasn't listed. Certainly it wasn't easy to find.

I use the video service and the music sine too, guess this just makes me more wary on the pricing scheme now.

We've had prime for about 4 years now, my wife uses it for almost all her text books and stuff for school. She ordered something about a week ago and it got delivered on a Sunday. And like you occasionally she will order something off prime because it's still cheaper with shipping.

Basically everything I purchase is prime eligible. I just checked and everything I have ordered in the past 6 months all has the same price listed if I am logged in to my account or not. Maybe it's based on IP address, who knows. It might be that non-prime eligible items can have different prices.

Only been playing it a week or so, and you get two chances a day for free. You need to get lucky and have a hand that beats the dealer right out of the gate but then also play them exactly right and it's blind. So only once or twice have I had the cards to actually beat the dealer (once its over you can tally up whether or not you could have won which is torture), and obviously only once have I actually just guessed right. So, so far out of 15 or so tries I have had the cards to win twice and got completely lucky on one of those chances and played the cards just right. Dont know if those same odds keep up or just a anomaly.

I had one a few years ago, it was creamy and woody. It wasn't bad but it wasn't worth the original price. I believe Dissident is kaput so it looks like Holts is unloading inventory. at $1.87 a cigar with free shipping its not bad.

OK, so, I said I was a smuck, but forgot to mention "not too bright". The last time I ordered from CI, I had it dropped shipped to someone else (not a member here). Today I get an email saying that this order is on it's way to that person. I called immediately, but it actually left yesterday. Since I have run out of storage, I consider myself one of the luckiest people. There is a fiver and twenty bucks in tobacco I don't have to find somewhere to put. If you can't laugh at yourself...

From what I've read about the tobacco that they use, it's only harvested every 3 years, but supposed to be from the same region in the forest. Which is why it's a limited production smoke.

Unlike traditional tobacco plantations where the plants are arranged in neat rows, these seeds are planted wherever there is available sunlight. Once harvested, the leaves are rolled by hand into tubes called carottes and undergo six months of natural fermentation, a technique similar to that of Andullo tobacco. Once fermented, it takes four to six weeks to get them from forest to factory, a process that involves being hand carried to the river, put into canoes and rowed to the mainland, then driven to the port and shipped to Nicaragua where they are made.
