How do you guys with wineadors have your humidification media set up?
Do you have media on each shelf/drawer? Bottom shelf only with fans?
If you do the bottom only, do you notice much % difference from shelf to shelf?
Just curious on your experience.

I have media throughout. A while back a friend helped me drill a ton of mini-holes in a bunch of small plastic test tubes with cap lids we got on amazon for a few bucks. Keep 65 HF Beads in those, a couple per drawer throughout the wineador. Also keep some 62 Bovedas on top in each drawer. And it sits pretty steady throughout. When opened, it quickly becomes uneven top to bottom, but returns to equilibrium rather quickly as well.

I don't worry about shelf to shelf, but I do bulk of beads on bottom and then some beads in the drawers. I have a 4 slot boveda holder on bottom with an extra boveda in the beads. In winter I stick a boveda in each drawer but in summer they come out and I only leave the bottom 5. I have fans on a timer that blow up the rear so I am circulating the air pretty often. Don't know if that will help but that's my setup.

I do not. Mine are in the basement and the cooling is not needed as it never gets warm enough down there.

I have hf beads in top and bottom and a pair of bovedas in each drawer. Recharging the beads every so often keeps the bovedas charged.

Brimy, I use HF 65% beads (2#) and 10# of Kitty Litter. It is spread throughout top to bottom in mesh bags and cookie sheets and a 13x9 cake pan. I couldn't be more happy with how steady it hold Rh. We keep out house temp a pretty constant 73-74f so I don't use the cooling on my wineador. I do freeze my cigars before putting them in the unit.

Hey Brimy, my 251s holds great humidity with a tray of KL on the bottom and a smaller tray placed above a few boxes on the one shelf I utilize. Probably about 3 lbs total. Also have 6 65 bovedas thrown around just because but, probably don't need them. My unit has been unplugged since the warm season has kicked in cause my finished basement stays right around 70*

I have 1/2 lb. hf beads on the bottom and another 1/2 lb. in the top drawer, plus some bovedas throughout just because I had the bovedas before getting the beads. Mine is a small wineador, so I don't worry about checking RH at different levels...I just keep the hygro on the middle drawer. I used to keep the power on for cooling during summer, but I noticed it would dry out my beads/bovedas far too quickly, so this summer I haven't plugged it back in. The wife keeps the house cool enough so that I don't need to worry about it.

I have approx 2 pounds of HF beads on the very bottom in trays and then have a pound in the middle on the shelf in a nylon bag. I also have coffins filled with beads in each of the 4 drawers. Most likely overkill but I rather have too much than not enough. I actually get too much humidity here and every few months need to dry out my beads in the oven. I also need to run the cooler year round here in the lovely sunshine state.

Any condensation issues?
When I run mine in the summer I've had issues.
I have 1 lb of HF beads in the bottom and their small tubes for each draw. But I took the tubes out of the draws because I was getting some bead dust from the tubes.

Strangely enough no. I had an issue when I first set it up and was still learning the proper temp but I never even check for condensation anymore.
