Super Bowl Plans?

The Super Bowl is a great event for cigars. What are you bums doing for the game?

I had to improvise because the local B&M which has hosted a big party in the past WILL BE CLOSED for the game this year. :banghead: I don't get it. Do they not like making money?

So, I'll be in my garage, trying to balance air ventilation and temperature.

I'll do the same as I do every year - ignore it and it will go away. LOL!

I presume it's on a Sunday, so I'll spend the day like most Sundays, which includes cigars and adult beverages with friends in the afternoon.

If it's this coming Sunday, we'll probably be trying out the Pirate's Gold lanceros that have been resting in the coolidor for a year. Hopefully the lanceros smoke well above their price point like the original vitolas used to! If that fails, we'll have to pretend we're smoking something from that island that we never smoke cigars from.

My wife and I are planning on cigars and fishing during the superbowl. Unless the weather is bad. If it's bad we are gonna do a short road trip (with cigars) to go take another look at a '67 Ranchero I'm interested in buying and restoring.

Will not be watching this year, just as I have not watched any NFL games since week 3. Their BS protest has me turned off to the NFL...they are supposed to go out there and entertain us for 3 hours, not shove their political views in our faces.

Really haven't missed it, and have been getting bored with the NFL in recent years anyway...I miss the old NFL where they actually let them go out there and play the game instead of throwing a flag for everything imaginable...

Exactly my feelings and couldn't have said it any better - just watching for the pools. And I too will root for anyone other than New England.

I don't have a weird-ass LFD football cigar so I'm thinking I might smoke a Jericho Hill 12 Honest Men because I'm hopeful that the officials are indeed honest men instead of helping out NE when it comes to calling the game..... :deadhorse:

There are no losers involved here, have you ever noticed how happy pro athletes are even after a sound ass kicking. They all walk of smiling and giggling with our money in their pockets (lots of $$$). Eagles defense is playing at a special level and should be the deciding factor, zebras excluded!

Was supposed to go to our local lounge, but they decided to host a Superbowl Party that you needed to buy tickets for. Missed out on the tickets, so I'll be sitting at home, with my better half, watching a movie.

I will be staying home with my wife and son to watch the game with all of us rooting against Brady and the Pats. We will have lots of food ( breaking the smoker out in a couple of hours) and a few beverages.

No big plans this year. I'm off work at 5, go home and enjoy some burgers with my wife and hope the Pats lose. My son usually checks out about 6-6:15 so maybe next year we will get some Super Bowl action together. No cigars inside and it's going to be like 24 tonight with wintry mix, so no cigars at all. Can't win them all...

I am working 10 hour days this weekend trying to finish a last minute project dumped on me by the boss. (thanks jackass!). But I plan on shutting off the computer by no later than 5 and then watch the Eagles win their first SB. First time in years I actually wish I was back in the homeland for the chaos that must be going on there lol

OK, so no victory - but I smoked those bad boys anyway. Not going to let a football game get between me and my cigars.

Vegas has us as the best odds for winning the SB again next year, and if we can actually put a defense together, and if Belichick will actually put the best players into the game, then we'll have a good chance.
