The 3rd Annual Cigar Bum Orgy held at CIGARfest - don't miss it!

Fellow bums - the annual Cigars International CIGARfest is coming up soon - the event runs Thursday May 3rd through Sunday May 6th. Besides the CIGARfest event itself on Friday and Saturday, there are other free events around complete with cigar celebrities and great deals on cigars.

For the last two years, bums from around the country have ascended to Hamburg, Pennsylvania to ORGY ORGY ORGY! This will be the will be the 3rd Annual Cigar Bum Orgy held at CIGARfest!

Last year's Orgy was a phenomenal time. Words can't say how much fun we had last year. I have been looking forward to this day since we left the parking lot to head home last year.

Over the course of last year's Orgy many bums were present including Demuths1770, 04EDGE40, Horseshoe, penna stogey, Tombstone, SeanTheEvans, cbr310, restomod, greige matter, Bernardini, and the man himself jhedrick83. Other participants from the first Orgy include lvfcrook1503, OtismyMan, and Ciro

So, let's get the discussion going. Who is in? Who do we need to convince that you need to be there? What excuse will WNYTONY make this year to skip the event?

I'm totally in, my wife OK'd it back in September and mentioned it again a couple weeks ago. I'll book the trip in the next week or so. As someone who missed the first Orgy and made it to the second, if you have never gone and you can go, you NEED to go. It's a blast. I'll let you guys know for sure, but I'll probably book a room with a double bed in case someone wants to share. I can't wait!!

Also, if any of you guys are thinking about coming in. Don’t forget to check flights to Lehigh Valley International instead of Philly. Airport code ABE. Way cheaper for me than philly and it was a short easy drive, which doesn’t look like the case coming from Philadelphia.

The Cigar Bum Orgy is held "around" CIGARfest. CI has a retail location in Hamburg, PA. CIGARfest itself is about an hour away from what I understand. Two years ago, a few bums descended on the Hamburg location for a Cigar Orgy. Last year the turnout was even better. Basically, a bunch of bums, smoking cigars from sun up to sun down. We don't got to the actual CIGARfest itself, we just hang at the Hamburg location. They run some specials at that store, but basically it's just a time to kick back and smoke. And it is a blast. We've never had a bum from California attend the Orgy - you could be the first! We'd love to meet you!

Some do go to the event others just head to CI and smoke, eat, and drink all day. Depending on how long you are staying you can do both!

They didn't have a massive selection but they had quite a few Fuente Fuentes and Power Rangers last time. Not gouging at all either. They also had some of the rarer Don Carlos and Prometheus lines as well.

They told me the Microtel in Hamburg Mark so that where I booked. I think it's right next door but someone else smarter than me will probably chime in.

I have to say this challenge coin that penna stogey gave me is the coolest gift I have been given at a cigar event. Just so awesome. So many amazing things happen at the Orgy. When I got home and started to unpack and put away the cigars I brought. I noticed that it looked like there was as many cigars in the container when I got home as what I left with. Couldn't figure that one out because I know I had at least 6-7 cigar a day for two days. Then I realized that the cigars were reproducing. A couple of the decent cigars I brought were getting together and produced a couple of Opus X and 3 or four Las Calaveras. Amazing stuff.

You guys are the best. Hope everyone got home safe and he's start planning for next year.

Kyle is 1,000% right on the Challenge Coin. It made my day yesterday. As I was waiting for TSA to jiggle my bit for me at 4:30 am and half awake, I forgot to take the challenge coin out of my pocket when I went through the screener. It goes off and the guy gruffly snaps at me “EMPTY YOUR POCKETS” so I reached in, pulled out the challenge coin and put it down. The dude's eyes got huge and he looked at me. I said, what’s the matter? Don’t have yours?! All I got in response was, “ ah shit. Look, I’m working. Your fine, go on” I've never seen a TSA screener get embarrassed and turn red. Seth is the man.
