I heard Florida lost 90% of the orange crop, I'm curious as to the loss of tobacco, as I haven't heard any news on that. I'm sure it's devastating in areas. Thoughts/news?

If we're to believe the Minister of Propaganda in Cuba, their crops are fine.

I read somewhere that there really isn't much if any tobacco in the fields this time of year.

IIRC, at least in Cuba, planting season is early October and harvest is 2-2.5 months later. I guess the concern would be for what has already been harvested and is curing as well as infrastructure damage. Hopefully, all is well.

Jessie,
Every time I think of this guy I wind up smiling for an hour or so.
Tho I fear the Information Minister may not have fared well.
The broadcast of him saying that those asking about the American forces reportedly near the Airport had "Departed too far from reality."
While over his shoulder one could see American tanks of troop carrier in the street below.
I'd buy him all the beer he could drink for that one alone.
Just wonderfully sincere & honest guy.
And we get the likes of B. Williams etal.

Wish I had a Video recording of that broadcast.
