Prelight: The sun grown wrapper on the Exhibicion has only a few, very small veins, has a nice oily sheen and is very smooth to the touch. It puts off a floral (almost perfume-like) aroma. The foot smells like wood and coffee. I opt for a guillotine cut and find that the draw is right where I like it. The cold draw is woody, but has a bit of earthiness to it as well.

1/3: The cigar starts very earthy, with slight hints of cream and pepper. The ash only lasts about an inch before it falls in my lap. The cigar is solidly a medium body/medium strength stick. Nearing the second third, a little coffee and wood is added to the earthy profile. A pretty good start.

2/3: The wood increases in the second third, creating a nice wood and coffee combo. Around the halfway mark, hay seems to evolve from the wood flavors. There is a perfect amount of smoke coming off the foot; not too much, not too little. The draw has loosened up a bit though. Wood comes back in a fury, and a mintiness is also added as I reach the final transition.

3/3: The final third is a glorious mix of cedar and mint tea. I am loving it. Unfortunately, the cigar puts itself out with about an inch and a half to go, and with my lighter giving me grief, I decided that the experience had come to a close.
Overall: Really good cigar. The flavors seem to undulate a bit, but aren’t erratic or overly complex. The construction was good; I think I neglected to nurse the cigar in the final third, otherwise it would have lasted another 15 or so minutes. Definitely received high marks from this Puffer.
