Some of you know my story from the contest I ran last year. Big fat man gets inspired by watching an Ironman triathlon.
Changed my lifestyle, became fit, took on a 70.3 distance triathlon (sucked!).
Sunday I took on Ironman Lake Placid and had success. Some issues on the run, but got it done.
Just wanted to share with you fine folks.

Congrats Zeebee! Well done!
I must admit, when I'm half in the bag, riding my beach cruiser around town with my wife while smoking a cigar, I feel the total athlete. (heh)

Congratulations. From now on, I'll think of you as a cigar smoking athletic supporter...

Awesome.
I'm in the early stages of my lifestyle change. I hope I have the mental fortitude that you do going forward.

Congrats! A full is TOUGH! I've done a few halves, and they were really tough. Lately, I've just been drinking beer, but I'm about to jump back in. Congrats again on an amazing accomplishment . You are now an Ironman for life!!!!
