I'm the same way with those....just doesn't fit my flavor profile (whatever that is). The "Big Payback" was OK, but I had some Numchucks or whatever they are called and just wasn't me. Of course I'm Chinese and he has this whole Japanese thing going on....Geesh, does this make me a racist?????

How do you like this stick? I've wanted to try this one and the Partagas Oscuro for a while just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I like it quite a bit. Certainly worth another 5er. Powerful, rich. Couldn't nail down any distinct flavors for ya, except a taste of salty jerky at the end.

A funny thing happened on my way out to smoke this cigar. I hang an old jacket outside on the door leading to my porch. It is my "smoking jacket" and I leave it out there rain or shine so it airs out. I grabbed it and put it on and then proceeded to pick out my cigar when I got a stinging sensation on my chest, as in stinging, biting, etc. i unzip my jacket and see something dark and fuzzy clinging to my white t-shirt. Well I go bananas and the thing falls to the floor. I am thinking it is spider and mentally prepare myself (i.e. Nervous breakdown) for my inevitable trip to the hospital for a spider bite........ended up being a bee.

Now I know to always shake my "smoking jacket" out before putting it on.

Currently finishing up one of my favorite yard-gars, a 5 Vegas Gold (Connecticut). I started it while mowing, but that only takes about 20 minutes, so I'm finishing it on the back deck (small front yard; large back yard is all woods and English ivy which happily consumes all cigar stubs and ashes, tea leaves, banana peels, and whatever else biodegradable I throw in it).

I had two Remedios cigars while working the yard. A Connecticut pyramid and a 7.25x54 maduro. I used to smoke these twenty years ago and they were a decent smoke. I bought a couple of bundles last spring on auction and they weren't fit to smoke. I got horrible indigestion as I think they were so young. Anyhow, I pulled them out to try them around six months ago and they were still not ready to me. They are very smokeable now. The CT pyramid was a spice bomb, and the Maddy was a sweet and slightly sour stick...

Yeah it's a KT. Good smoke with tons of rich heavy smoke and a smooth draw. I have 1 more that I'm gonna try after another month or so and give it my final verdict. I can't put my finger on what it is, but there is something in the flavor that just strikes me as odd. It's not bad, I just can't put my finger on it so it drives me crazy trying to figure it out.
