This is one of those LE that comes from Bellatto/Caldwell/Sears aka Impromptu. They released them back in Feb and they sold out rather quickly. Frankly I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. It was just an OK cigar.

I had the MX2 years ago and HATED it. This was my first time trying it since then courtesy of Tobias Lutz
This was much, much better than I remember. My only issues were with construction. Burn was perfect, but there were two large stems near the head of the cigar. After a few puffs the stems broke through the wrapper and binder which gave the draw an awesome (sarcasm) hole in straw effect. After some fancy finger placement I was able to draw well on it but had to finish sooner than I would have liked.

If you have more, give them some rest and try again. I'm guessing this particular stick had a fair amount of age. The cello was slightly yellow.

I'm sure this is my first nub, and I can't specifically recall smoking a cameroon so it could be a first there too. Either way, this is a very pleasant smoke in spite of being one of the ugliest looking sticks I've ever burned.

Warped La Colmena 36. These are excellent smokes if you aren't in a hurry. The 36 rg really seemed to require a very slow pace, but it burned perfect and tasted excellent.

A little morning cigar action. The first morning cigar I have had since fall. I don't know what it is about this stick, but it is just good for me. If it had a better cap, I would say this is one of my all time favorites. Bahia Gold White Label. If you haven't tried one, try it! Great cigar. Creamy, chocolate, and a little almost hazel nut.

Very interesting cigar. Creamy and a little sweet like dried peaches. Has a little spice to it that makes my mouth tingle. Nice thick chewy smoke. I like it.

Not %100 decided on it. Flavor seemed decent, nice creamy smoke but had burn issues and really hard draw. Maybe a little more to in the humi will fix them up. Not sure if its the puffing like crazy trying to keep it going or what but the nicotine kick off of it has me a little turned off of it, and I've yet to be kicked like this from anything else...

Aside from still being a bit overhumidified it was not bad. Just a decent, all long filler smoke. I might grab more to see how they do at lower rh.

My wife loves them but she's had draw issues on quite a few of the belicosos. So far the robustos haven't had any issues. Never noticed a big nic kick on them tho'

This afternoon I had a 7X50 El Caudillio Maduro cigar.:stogie: I was digging thru some of my stash and came across this cigar which I had purchased back in 2009; I had forgotten that I still had a few of these. Back in 2010 I had posted in the Old Puff Forum that these cigars were so delicious and Jeff (Commonsenseman) and Mark (Mooster) had told me that they were happy that I enjoyed them when in reality this cigar was definitely a "dog rocket".:calm: I now realize that Jeff and Mark knew that I was smoking a terrible cigar but was definitely supporting this rookie with a very untrained palate. I also remember that "Cigary" had told me that the real joy is in "the journey"; I realize that some of the cigars that he was smoking then are some of my favorites today.;) My final statement on this cigar is that it was and is a "Thompson Cigar" dog rocket; terrible indeed. I did top of this smoke with a large cup of hot coffee which was delicious!:fly:

I'm very pleased with my first Kristoff. I purchased a Kristoff ten sampler from Famous the first of the week. This one had just 2 days rest and is very nice....

Excellent cigar. Not a lot of complexity but very smooth and flavorful all the way from start to finish. Perfect draw, no harshness, leather and coffee flavors with a slight nutty finish. I'm glad I got a 5er, I'm going to enjoy the others.

This smoke was a kick in the face . Lol. Strong! Great construction,great burn and had this earthy,woody, flavor profile that transitioned pretty nicely from the first through the final third. I smoked it rott so I'm sure it's a different monster with rest. They can be found at cigar fed. Knowing your penchant for full bodied smokes these are right up your alley!!!

Round 2, Lianos Dos Palmas Conn. Broadleaf Maduro Double Corona. God I love these. This will be good for 2.5 hours easy, pours smoke like a Liga and damn tasty too! Razor sharp burn, great draw and burns cool. A little semi-sweet chocolate, coffee and light tobacco.

I smoked a 2011 Don Carlos myself today. Haven't had the Carlito yet but its on my list to pick up.
