Had to do some catch up stuff on Computer,now way out of synch time wise. These were Tuesdays, Four Kicks in the Morning, the Evening cigar was aHeadley Grange
Toro, first for me of this brand, surprised at how smooth the cigar was,sharp burn line, great draw, I smoke very slowly and still was not expecting this cigar to last as long as it did.Quite to've one more that's made my lets do this again list.

Besides the edge these are the only rocky's I like. The wrapper also seems a little flame retardent. The burn always starts well and then becomes a pain.

Just lighting up a Grimalkin Robusto while watching the rain and hoping for a bit more breeze if the rain lets up soon.

I will caveat this micro-review by saying that I am a huge fan of AJ Fernandez. By my estimation, the guy can do no wrong. New World, La Herencia Cubana Core, Diesel (especially HotD), Man O' War, Ave Maria, etc., etc., etc... All terrific in my opinion.

Relic Robusto. From the cold draw, I could tell this was going to be a fantastic cigar. And it didn't disappoint. This was the first one of these I've ever had. It's out of a 5-pack and it hasn't even been off the truck for a week.

It's not an overly pretty cigar. Pretty "rustic" looking. But the draw was nearly perfect (just a touch on the loose side) and the burn was excellent. Huge amounts of medium to full bodied smoke.

Earth, coffee, and spice with a slight sweetness. These flavors are used to describe too many cigars but it's the blend and character that defines a cigar. Another home run for AJ in my opinion. Very enjoyable!

This is just based on a single sample though. I'm very interested to see how the remainder of the 5-pack goes with some rest.

barely pushed mid but pretty good cigar. Creamy, Nuttyness, with a slight pepper zing on the very end of the retro.
Pretty shocked it was this mild-med for it being a Nicaragua Puro.

An Oliva V that has been resting 2 years. When I first began smoking cigars I bought 3 of them after reading all the high praise at the time. Another one courtesy of Laynard (who dropped about 15 cigars on me in a bomb a while back). This is an excellent smoke, and perfect with coffee this morning. Forgot to take a pic to post my Friday night cigar I enjoyed with a buddy, it was a "fresh rolled" cigar from Habana smoke shops here in Albany. They were part of a cigar event they put on with a pub last summer. Been chilling in the humidor for about a year so we lit ours up!

Not too bad for a house cigar. Good construction. Perfect draw and a razor sharp burn.

Side note: I think a beetle just bounced off of the side of my house and landed in my coffee. I'll probably still drink it...

ETA: Have to say I was really disappointed with this cigar. I love the FdlA so I really expected to be wowed by the LA. Not so much. Even once I lowered the bar after the first 3rd, the rest of the cigar just didn't perform well taste wise at all. It was an extremely boring cigar.

yes indeed. I sent him info of another vendor that has them in stock so it seems they just released their latest batch (cause i checked small batch last week and they were out).

Really great cigar. i would say a close second to the La Colmena Unico Especial which IMHO is the best Warped offering.

my Father #5 Toro 6x56...after 5-6 months in humidor this is smoking very nicely indeed, little trace of pepper when first lit, lots of light blue smoke smoked for two and a half hours, all in all an good smoke.

Papas Fritas early, really early morning smoke, taking advantage of a drop in temp and humidity.
The Papas Fritas remind me of the Villigers in a way.
In Madrid no problem finding Cuban cigars.
In Vitoria Gasteiz can't even find Canary Island cigars.
But, as in most of Europe, you wont have to much trouble locating some Villiger #7 Sumatra cigars.
Five nice sized cigars in a cardboard pack that you carry in your pocket,
much as the way many pipe smokers carried a tin of Pipe tobacco with them.
Now, here are the Papas Fritas, small cigars, in a tin conveniently packaged in a protective tin.
Sure some pipe smokers always carried a pouch of pipe tobacco, some cigar smokers had their leather cigar cases.
But for a fair number of cigar smokers those Villigers were most appreciated.
So for those of us who remember when Lucky Strike cigarettes came in those green tins,
the little tins of the Papas Fritas feel as if they should've always been available.

I love these. Solid construction, nice price and great flavour, with a touch of spice. This was the natural. The maduro is good as well but I prefer the natural.
