I'm confused - are you talking about yourself, or the late Cuban dictator? :)

Ah, split personality disorder. How many of ya are in there?
Maybe it's demon possession?

Dunno as I'll have to ask the accountant side of me who can barely do a 1040 EZ return. I think he's the most possessed out of everybody.

Guessing the number of persons living in a single occupation dwelling might make for a good poll. Vegas over/under is currently 5. I took the over.

I've always had a problem with dictators. Just a brutal way to run a country. Hmmmm....let's find some more ways to make everybody miserable. If you love your country, you should find a way to make it prosper along with your people. I never understood how these jerks can stand to look in the mirror knowing what they're doing to the morale and lives of it's citizens.....

I couldn't imagine living in a country under an evil dictator. We are truly blessed and I have a great deal of thankfulness and admiration for those who have protected and continue to protect our freedom.

...correct me if I'm wrong, but he didn't have any real power since 2008? Switching the conversation a bit, but I've heard a few people around me saying how great things are going to be for the people over there now that he's dead, but I thought he was out in 08...

Raul has officially been in power since 2008. He is generally regarded as more moderate than Fidel. It is possible that he will continue on exactly the same course he has started on. It is also possible that out of respect for Fidel (or simply to keep the peace with him), Raul has held back on his reforms, and that he may proceed more quickly now that Fidel is dead. I think the latter is pretty much everyone's hope.

My hope is that with Fidel's passing, there will be more Cohiba Lanceros available for the rest of the world. And by "rest of the world," I mean "me."

His brother Raul has been running the country for the last eight years. I don't think he's any better unless he was waiting for his brother to die to make changes.....

So, I heard POTUS and VPOTUS were planning for one or both to attend Castro's funeral, but changed their minds after some people expressed "Why the hell would you attend the funeral of an evil, murderous, thieving, communist dictator?"

OK, that's probably not a direct quote, but,...wow, that anyone would consider attending...wow
