Anyone else get a $20 gift certificate from CI?

I have a purchasing moratorium on at the moment (about a 5-year inventory in the humidor), so I searched for something I like that was as close to $20 as possible. My choice was between a 15 count bundle of Oliva O seconds for $28 or a 5er of CAO Go's for $21. I have tons of Os, so got the Go's for $1 plus shipping.

It was legit. I used it with no problem. No gimmicks.

This one was good for 72 hours and had no minimum spend. I spent $21 and got $20 off, for a $1 5er, plus shipping.

Yep, used mine today. Order toal, with tax and shipping, was a little over 40 bucks, and the code went through without a hitch. I think I've only placed one order from them in the past, and that was for some 10 cigar sampler/humidor combo for like $20. It shipped quick, and just got notification that my newest order is shipping tonight, so no complaints as far as the company. I just get better discounts through another on line vendor and my local cigar guy.

I received that email on Saturday and placed an order Saturday night. Got some of the new version CAO Sopranos cigar. I never had the original, hopefully the new version is tasty.

Got one the other day from cigar.com. Same deal, no restrictions. Good until the 25th. Never ordered from them, but did get on their mailing list awhile back. Probably not gonna use this one. But to follow up, CI's packaged arrived after only 3 or 4 days. All is good.

Sounds like they are running an experiment with their promotions by varying the deal and the profile of the recipient and then tracking the response - which is what most sophisticated retailers do on a regular basis. Glad they included me.
