I've recently started looking for a 2nd humidor as I've filled my first and am at near capacity on my tupperdor. We choose to live in a house with under 1200 sq ft of temperature controlled living space and have two children and are in the market for more. That being said, I don't want coolers and Tupperware sitting out in sight.

For this reason, I've been toying with the idea of either a furniture style humidor or else a wineador.

I think I've narrowed it down to two options but would appreciate any input.

Montegue cabinet Humidor
Pros:
Large capacity
Discreet

Cons:
No temperature control

Newair CC-300 Wineador
Pros:
Temperature control
Displays collection

Cons:
Smaller capacity
Doesn't blend in as furniture

If aesthetics are more important, go with the table. If more presice storage conditions are the priority, get the wineador.
The real question might need to be, what are mama's ideas on the subject? If she doesn't care either way, I'd jump on the wineador.

So, you already have a temp controlled space, but how humid or dry does it get where you live?
If it gets dry, then with the cabinet you'll have to be more diligent with checking the rH during the dry season. With the winedor it won't be as critical.

Living in Florida I really had no other option than a wineador. If I still lived up North I would still probably just have a huge cooler in the basement. I think it really comes down to if you want it out in the open to display. That cabinet humidor is designed for electronic humidification. It could be a very slick setup with huge storage capacity and be able to go in any room, assuming it will blend wit your decor.

I do like my Wineador for Habanos, though I plan to upgrade to a Staebell Aristocrat at some point.
