Anyone here have any experience with J. Fuego cigars? Our local lounge (opened last January) is having their first cigar event later this month and I plan on doing my part to support it. I have zero experience with J. Fuego cigars and searching google always leave me feeling like I need to part my cheeks to allow the smoke a more easy access to my anus.
Anyone here tried J. Fuego cigars? I noticed they seem heavily discounted at some retailers and I don't know if this is because they are bad cigars or just get no press. Help and opinion is appreciated.

How's the event work? At my favorite place, they charge a cover ($10). That gets you the featured cigar to sample, along with some liquor samples and a buffet. If it works this way, just go. What do you have to lose. In addition, it gets your face known to the owners, which may open some other doors down the road.

It's a free event for members. I'm not really sure what they have planned with the event. I am definitely planning to attend and leave a little $ there for support. After all, I was the first member.

Yes, pretty much any promo copy will tell you that the Messiah has returned in the form of a cigar. Just have to try to find objective reviews. Unforch I can't provide anything for you - I keep notes on most of the cigars I've smoked, and can't find anything on that brand.

Thanks for looking Bruce. It looks like Fuego makes a few different blends so I guess I will have to see what they bring. I will do some more reading up on their cigars before the event and see if I can narrow down what I may enjoy. This is the only cigar lounge in town and I think membership is at 35 members. I hope they continue to survive and grow.

Yes, the 777 Silver Maduro is excellent.

I've had the "Heat" I don't keep notes, probably should. I think it was decent though, definitely don't remember not liking it.

I reviewed the Heat about a year ago. I liked it, rich flavor profile. I also really like the Origen Maduro

Agree with the fellas on the Heat and Origin Maduros. The 777 is probably the better of the bunch but these cigars need rest desperately as they smoke pretty green ROTT. Didn't smoke mine til at least 3 months of rest was on them.

I have smoked his Judge. It was ok. My general impression is his stuff is middle or the road. Not bad but not knock your socks off. I would check out an event. They are always fun.

The bar I use has an event each month, featuring a different cigar company. Twice this year he's had cigars I hadn't heard of, and the Web was pretty spotty on info about. For 20 bucks (my son comes with me, rides my tab) and the cost of a couple drinks, I got fed well, got to try a cigar I wouldn't usually try, and if I like it, get a 20-25% discount on boxes. Not to mention I've met some great people in the close to two years I've been going.

Unfortunately I have no experience with J Fuego. But if you want to support the event it won't hurt to show up & find out how they are!

I picked up a box of Origen Maduro for about $60 on sale and they turned out to be excellent. I liked them so much I looked for other J. Fuego cigars...picked up 10 of The Judge Toros on cbid. Also very good smokes. I'm a fan of J. Fuego.

Went to the J Fuego event tonight and ended up smoking a Tatuaje P Series. I did buy 6 of the Fuego cigars and a few others. I will probably try one this weekend and see what I bought. I was glad to see our cigar lounge have an event. They have only been open 9 months and drew about 25 and I was glad to support it.
