Ok. So I know we are all spread out over the country and even other countries so I have a question to ask regarding and unusual phenomenon I've been experiencing the last couple years.
So from June to August here at my house in the middle of the Pacific NW there are these little flying bugs that look similar to a fruit fly but with larger wings. I don't ever see them day or night until I light up a cigar. Then they come out and swarm me like crazy. They stay until about 10 min after the smoke is gone and they disappear again. I never heard of an insect attracted to cigar smoke before and I thought it was a coincidence but I have been watching carefully over the last dozen or so smokes and its every time ( if the weather is good). They don't bite but are really annoying flying in my face and hair.
In my current smoking setup I sit with a large fan next to me in the garage that blows the smoke out of the garage. It blows onto my car and they congregate all over my car also.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this where you live.
Here is a pic of the hood of my car after just ten min of smoking. The pic doesn't show them well but I went from zero to hundreds in minutes. Wierd if you ask me.
