View Full Version : Blind Review Tobacco Giveaway

Here is how it works:


The first six to sign up become the contestants
Each will receive at least an ounce of 3 different Sutliff Private Stock blends, and 1 Hearth & Home blend
They are labeled with numbers 1-24, but no blend names
You smoke the samples and post a review- you DO NOT have to guess what it is, just review the tobacco
I will post the blend name in response to each review
After all 6 contestants have reviewed all 24 blends, I will randomly select one of the six to receive a special "prize pack"


Sign up below, AND pm me your mailing address. I will ship next Tuesday (6-21) when I get home from a conference.

Disclaimers:


These are a mix of aromatics, non-aros, and English blends. Your samples will be randomly selected. If you don't dig something, just pass it on to someone else after you review it.
I can only ship CONUS (I'm poorer than I used to be)

Having recently been blessed by brother Tobias in a trade I have a nice selection SPS and H&H,I don't want to
take advantage of him.If called upon I will gladly serve,but I know there are more deserving pipers out there.
And honestly,I'm still working thru the Milan samples and trying to decide which one is my favorite.I will say
that the blends I have are really amazing and well worth trying again and again,and again.........

I have a lot going on right now...including buying a new home and moving. I won't even get started with what's going on at work...I don't know when I would be able to actually review the samples.

But on the other hand, it has been a long time since I have played any games with you guys as well.... hmmmmm

If there's still a space with all this damn coy prevaricatin' I'm in! Just got back from a month in Hawaii (poor me, I know, but we needed to make up for 4 years of no holidays) and am swamped with things to do, but I reckon I can squeeze in a tobacco review once in a while.

You're in, but I need you to resend the address. I generally don't hold on to them beyond intended use with a pass.

I thank you for the kind, thoughtful offer, but I'm not crazy about doing blind tests, and also, I have smoked all the Sutliff PS blends and reviewed them. I think you should experience them yourself.

I have never smoked a single SPS blend. So this will be interesting for me. I have heard good things though.

I'm much more acquainted with H&H however.

I've smoked a couple of regular Sutliff blends but no PS. Curious to see if there's a big difference.

I apologize for not personally responding to all the participant PMs...I've had a busy June, being away from home all but 5 days. Things should be quieting down now and I'll get a thread open tomorrow or Thursday for the reviews. I will place a link here. Everything was shipped first-class, so our brothers on the West coast will get a staggered start following the three on the East coast.

Remember, the winner of the grand prize will be selected randomly. The reviews are not graded, nor do you have to guess the blend. Just post the number from the bag and I will reply with the blend name. As long as you post all four reviews you are entered into the final drawing.
