The Chillin' Moose is one of my favorite ceegars...regardless of the price point, and these are VERY inexpensive. Not a complex smoke, just a solid satisfying stogie. And at less than fifty bux for a box of twenty, hey, all the better!

So, I now notice that they've come out with a Chillin' Moose Too...basically the same stick with a Connecticut wrapper. Has anybody tried these, and if so, whatchoo think? Are they substantially different than the original, and if they are different, as I suspect they would be, how so?

I've been wondering about these too as I'm a big fan on the chillin moose as well. Hopefully someone can chime in who's tried them.

Have they actually come out yet? I saw a halfwheel article about them the other day but I don't recall if there was a release date.

yes they are out!! just saw them at a local B&M last weekend and plan on grabbing some this weekend to give a try!! i like the chillin moose but its too mild for a everyday smoke for me but is a great morning stick. im hoping these will fill the void i have with the chillin moose for a everyday mid day afternoon stick.

Are these actually that good? I keep seeing the name and thought it was some kinda joke. Like another version of the Pirates Gold

I found them good for the price. It's like GHV 2002. Nothing outstanding, but you get your money's worth. I wouldn't put it much more than that.

Yep, they are out, apparently. I went onto Cigars International website the other day, looking to get a box of regular Chillin' Moose...and I saw these in three ring gauges. Thought I'd wait a couple of days, and when I went back to buy a box, the ones I wanted were back ordered, so I reckon they have some traction!

Tman, you are perzactly correct...these won't rule the world, but they are an excellent value, a decent everyday ceegar that you might smoke going from here to there or putzin' around. If I am gonna sit down and smoke for relaxation, probably not gonna pull one of these out!

They are an excellent value...a good cigar for not a whole lotta money. If one is a cigar snob, it ain't gonna work...but if you just want a nice smoke that rarely bites back, you'll like 'em! I'm talking about the regular Chillin' Moose, haven't tried the 'Too' yet.

Nah, they're definitely not a joke. I got one in a bomb about a year and a half ago and smoked it without knowing the price or who made it, and I enjoyed the hell out it. I guessed $6-10, and when I found out they're more like $2 I was a little blown away.

IMHO, they're the best value priced smoke out there, at least of what I've had. Does it beat my favorites out? Nope, but I'll be buying my 2nd box soon and I do smoke them for enjoyment, not even as a knock-around-when-I'm-working kinda cigar. They definitely hit my taste buds right for a medium-ish smoke, and I'm always happy when I think about the cost.

Your question will be answered when you walk into a B&M and learn that they have a limit of one per day to a customer.

Sooner than I thought! Couldn't wait. In my simple opinion, an excellent fifteen dollar ceegar!

Well, I've had several, and it's just one of the best smokes ever, at least to my palate. My neighbor, who smokes one or two daily, agrees. Apparently, others concur, since CI is having trouble keeping them in stock. As good as the original Chillin' Moose is, these have just a bit more body, and to me, are much better!
