This one, I feel bad for. You know the ones you jostle around through handling, and they get beat up, and give you those accusing looks? Despite my horrendous abusing of this one, it feels and looks solid. The wrapper gives very light aromas of tobacco and straw. Foot gives white pepper (for a change), tobacco and toast. Cold draw is cedar, toast and tobacco.
Again, a one note wonder. *Scratching head*... Well, it was mighty fine, that one-note set. Consistently cedar, white pepper and creaminess for tastes, and cedar, white pepper and toastiness for aromas. After conferring with my dad, who is a Monte aficionado, I should have saved this for last, regardless of billed strength. He feels there is no better NC Montecristo than this one. I sure enjoyed it, but I still have a Platinum and a Monte by Montecristo to go.
