Cardinal asked for it, so he shall have it. I've smoked 3 of the Skinnies so far...Frank, Jason, and Mummy. Although I don't have pictures anymore, I do still have my notes.
I will start by saying this.....These sticks are fairly wet and get a little bitter towards the end. I highly recommend letting them rest for a while.
They are however, VERYYYY close to the original Monster blends...They are not toned down versions like the pudgies were so with the exception of Frank, don't smoke these on an empty stomach!

Skinny #1: Frank
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Toothy, Oily Wrapper, with a few noticeable Veins (It's a Broadleaf, what do you expect?)
Draw: Perfect all the way through. Just enough resistance but not that golf ball/Garden hose resistance you get from some 38rg lol
Pre Light Smell: Nothing, I was at cigarfest and the ventilation system in the room sucked.
Cold Draw: Tobacco/Cedar

1/3: Starts medium body and strength. Tiny bit of leather, and a lot of Cedar. Just a hint of spice on the finish.
2/3: Body and strength amp up to Medium/Full. Still heavy cedar but the leather has become a more roasted flavor. The spice on the finish is about the same.
3/3: Still medium/full strength and body but the flavors really change! The cedar changes to a heavier wood flavor. The leather flavor comes back in a big way and is complimented by a nice coffee note. The spice on the finish dies out and is replaced by a creamy chocolate note.

Conclusion: Great smoke! The final third was my favorite by far. Although it did go bitter towards the end, I think that's just because they are so young.

Skinny #2: Jason
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Toothy with a ton of noticeable Veins, but not oily at all.
Draw: A little snug at first but opens up nicely!
Pre Light: Pepper, Leather, and Hay
Cold Draw: Pepper....Pepper....and Pepper

1/3: Just like the original.... Medium/Full Body and Strength right away. Heavy Leather, a Ton of Pepper, some hints of coffee, a mild sweetness, and a meatiness to it similar to Cote D'or.
2/3: Still medium/full. The sweetness fades and a baking spice creeps in. Pepper eases up a bit. Everything else is about the same as the first third.
3/3: Full body/strength now. The sweetness comes back and leather becomes the predominant flavor. The pepper ramps back up again also but it's a different pepper. More like a white pepper.

Conclusion: Jason has always been my favorite Monster...I love pepper bombs. This one is no different. It can really be an ass kicker, especially if you're not used to stronger smokes. All around, a great cigar though. Nice flavor changes, perfect burn, and very complex.

Skinny #3: Mummy
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Sun Grown Criollo
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Pretty smooth, with a mild amount of oil.
Draw: Absolutely Perfect
Pre Light: Cedar and Hay
Cold Draw: Mostly Hay

1/3: Medium Strength and Body...Spicy Cedar, leather, hay, and a hint of chocolate. Also a pretty heavy spice on the back end.
2/3: Still medium strength and Body. The chocolate fades and a heavy cinnamon flavor comes in. Pepper eases up a bit on the finish but is still there.
3/3: Medium/Full body and strength now. The cinnamon fades and a heavy creamy chocolate becomes pretty dominant. There is also a pretty heavy sweetness that creeps in but I can't quite figure out what it is.

Conclusion: Much better than the full sized Mummy IMO. This has actually been my favorite skinny to date. Even with as young as they are, this one never went bitter. Burn was razor sharp the whole time and ash held firm. Glad I have more boxes so I can keep going back to this one.

Skinny #4: Wolf
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Very Smooth and Oily
Draw: Absolutely Perfect
Pre Light: Sweet Leather
Cold Draw: Leather and Wood

1/3: Medium Strength and Body...Leather, Oak, and an almost Milk Chocolate note. There is a spice there but it's too mild to make out.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160506/6a2dd833dd62e769861718da2bfea9a0.jpg
2/3: Medium-Full strength and Medium Body. The chocolate becomes more dominant, and some floral notes come through. Pepper picks up a bit on the finish and is more of a White Pepper.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160506/90297cda754a289bc2fa4d8b0cf59072.jpg
3/3: Medium/Full body and strength now. The note becomes an almost maple sweetness, the oak and leather are still very noticeable. The spice is really ramped up now and almost pushes this one to full strength.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160506/6c161fc6e8f8be09d9137afc2057a085.jpg

Conclusion: We all know by now Pete Johnson is a wizard with the Sumatra wrappers and this one was no exception. There were actually some similarities with the Skinny Jason but over all the Wolf had a bit more sweetness, and not quite as strong. It paired very well with the Thomas Handy which helped to pick up the maple flavor!

Skinny #5: Chuck

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Pretty smooth, very firm, and Oily.
Draw: A bit snug
Pre Light: kind of like a jumble of different wood smells along with a spice
Cold Draw: Various Spices and a bit of Cedar

1/3: Medium/Full Strength and Body...Blast of Black Pepper up front and moves to the background as you get into it a bit. Once the spice let up a bit some mixed wood flavors and a hint of chocolate came in.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160513/2cb920b5db4da32918071b08770ce5e1.jpg

2/3: Still Medium/Full strength and Body. The Black Pepper fades a tad and Becomes more of a baking spice. Cigar becomes much more earthy with the sweetness picking up a bit.

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160513/77c1adec42b18ae13a7e09bf6793626f.jpg
3/3: Full body and strength now. The Pepper ramps back up, and the sweetness fades into an aged tobacco flavor. There's also a nut flavor coming through.

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160513/0872797e2900e961e579b1b782f42bd7.jpg

Conclusion: Much better than the pudgy Chuck, which to me was kind of blah. This one had a perfect burn the whole way through, and although there were not drastic profile changes it kept you wanting more. One thing to note, the final third got really spicy!!! Like, my lips were tingling a bit spicy lol. Don't go at this one on an empty stomach!

Skinny #6: Skinny Face
Wrapper: Mexican San Andreas
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Toothy, a lot of Veins, a little bit oily but not much.
Draw: Perfect
Pre Light: Pepper, Grass, Hay
Cold Draw: Pepper and Grass

1/3: Medium/Full Body and Strength right away. HEAVY Black Pepper, a little bit of red pepper, Earth, and a charred wood flavor.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160519/a0e32cd06ae6dea8a0fcefaa8ae7ae8f.jpg
2/3: Still medium/full. Flavors are the same as the first third but a little bit of a grass flavor comes through.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160519/ea84096221678179a8121c72910ce136.jpg
3/3: Full body/strength now. Still heavy pepper, Grass, and earth. A little bit of a coffee flavor comes in, and the Charred wood flavor becomes dominant.

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160519/192bac28397def4b1e0e8ea2512ec68a.jpgConclusion: Great Burn/Construction but the flavors just were not for me. The changes were minor and I really don't like that Charred Wood flavor. It reminds me of the 2012 Conju which just wasn't for me. I do love the amount of spice in this one as I'm a fan of pepper bombs. If you liked the Pudgy Face, you will like this one as it's a little more balanced.

Skinny #7: Drac
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Maduro
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Very Veiny and very oily.
Draw: Absolutely Perfect
Pre Light: Spice and Sweet Chocolate
Cold Draw: Spice, Earth, a hint of chocolate

1/3: Medium-Full Strength and Body...Spice earth and an almost sweet raisin flavor up front, fairly heavy pepper spice on the back end.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160526/c79ff43cb0c1654cff0ca35246d9c7c1.jpg
2/3: Full Strength/Body. Spice ramps up a bit and a chocolate flavor comes in...Three is also a mild hint of leather towards the back of the tongue.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160526/754171b9a3b84853daa3cf4ca622b6c8.jpg
3/3: Full Strength/Body. Spice comes and goes but the chocolate and leather are much more dominant. There is also a cedar flavor coming through on the retrohale.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160526/f7c77daa78f14e417d30e332bec294a2.jpg

Conclusion: This one was right on par with the full sized drac. It's damn good. Burn was solid the whole time and I never needed to relight or touch up. Very very good smoke

Skinny #8: Hyde
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Mild amount of veins and seams and a nice oily sheen
Draw: A bit snug
Pre Light: Cedar and Pepper
Cold Draw: Cedar and Pepper

1/3: Medium Strength and Body...Earth, natural tobacco sweetness, black pepper, cedar. Also a pretty heavy spice on the back end.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160607/c3e4ac9ed183128afefe530658672f8d.jpg
2/3: Still medium strength and Body. Same as the first third but there is almost a mint flavor sneaking in. Spice on the back end also ramps up a bit.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160607/b092583d45a633cc36a3e776b023bfb0.jpg
3/3: Medium/Full body and strength now. Exactly the same as the 2nd Third
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160607/48f696abfe6ec60f2e280c403dda6f8e.jpg

Conclusion: Although there were not many changes, I enjoyed the skinny Hyde much more than the full size. The full size to me had an over powering charred wood taste that never left. The skinny was more of a mild Cedar. I really enjoyed it from start to finish!

Skinny #9: Tiff
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Veiny, Very Little Oil, a bit soft
Draw: Perfect
Pre Light: Barnyard, Hay, a bit of Pepper
Cold Draw: Barnyard, Hay, Cinnamon

1/3: Medium/Full Strength and Body...Spicy and Creamy with Notes of Leather and Hay, . Also a mild spice on the Retrohale.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160612/f1406e6dc57535fe8d0a3be2bfc4531f.jpg
2/3: Still medium/Full strength and Body. Still the Creamy Leather and Hay but the spice on the back of the tongue really picks up. There is also a nuttiness that comes through.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160612/46871d41deab0a715b6b36dfc58ce414.jpg
3/3: Full Strength/Body. The spice picks up all around and kind of mutes the creaminess. Leather and Hay flavors are still there though. The nuttiness fades into another flavor that I'm not too fond of. I also can't quite figure out what it was.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160612/bd5cf73bd2c7405c12b598455a55e2af.jpg

Conclusion: Great burn and Great Ash throughout. I was hoping for a bit more sweetness like the Pudgy version had, so I was a little disappointed that it never showed up. Not a bad cigar by any means but there's certainly a reason this one was never turned into a main monster release lol.

Skinny #10: Jekyll
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sancti SpĂritus
Binder/Filler: Nicaraguan
Construction: Slightly Veiny with some water spots.
Draw: A little snug
Pre Light: Hay and Cedar
Cold Draw: Grass and Hay

1/3: Mild/Medium Body and Strength. Creamy Hay with a light pepper on the retrohale.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160614/fdcc8848b2418100b9f40564624c2f9f.jpg
2/3: Still Mild/Medium. Still Creamy Hay only a bit of a salty flavor creeps in.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160614/7373aa732df263f668e92ad7a1041029.jpg
3/3: Mild Strength/Medium Body. Flavors still the same only a hint of Cedar comes in. Cigar becomes very dry. Needed a sip of water after each puff.
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160614/bebedc48b66d5971b2a5db662d4366c7.jpg

Conclusion: I saved this one for last for a reason. It was my least favorite out of all of the full sized monsters and I had a feeling it would be the same in Skinny Version. I personally just don't enjoy it. That being said, it's still a very well constructed cigar. Ash was firm and held on for almost half the smoke. To me the flavors/complexity just isn't there though. If you liked the full sized Jek, you will like this one as there is almost no difference between them.
