Appearance is matte with a slight shine, firm to touch with some visible seams. Wrapper aromas are peppery, earthy, tobacco and molasses. Foot smells of black pepper, spice, tobacco and leather. Cold draw is of dark earth, leather and cocoa.
1st third: Tastes are of a heavy note, leather, cedar and espresso. Aromas are spicy, cedar and a subtle caramel sweetness.
2nd third: Tastes are of leather, cedar, espresso and a bitter cocoa. Aromas are hickory, caramel and coffee.
In the transition to the final third, a purge and relight brought a big cordite note. What the?!
Final third : Tastes and aroma are identical to the previous third.
Thoughts : a very heavy-handed stick, with the classic AJ Fernandez touches. I like it quite a bit, but it's been a minute since I had one. I took a heavy Nic punch to the gut from the 2nd third on. Medicinal dose of cherry cheesecake ice cream

Nice review! The Unlimited also gives me that ramped up strength at the end. I've found it to die down a lot after a 1-2 year rest.

For some reason when I started reading the cherry cheesecake ice cream at the end jumped out at me, I was like is this guy trying to get a job at halfwheel or something  Then I read the whole thing and realized what it was, nice review.

Pretty accurate review for a cigar that I tend to smoke sporadically. I've found this to be a great cigar to smoke after dinner when you've satisfied yourself with a good Rib Eye and potatoes/asparagus and fresh rolls with cream salted butter. Bring out that flavorful after dinner drink and enjoy yourself.
