I hope I didn't come off as rude and while I am sure Jason is just letting us know about the giveaway, which is great. I do get a little annoyed that us without Facebook seemed to get left out. Jason thanks for the heads up on the contest.

Josh, IMO it's not that we can't sign up for Facebook, it's that we choose not to. That's our choice.

Same here on no FB. I chose to leave FB for good in '13. Rather than log back in after the Conservative Blackout, I decided to stay gone. I figured, "why would FB care about us leaving if we came back the next day?"
If that means I miss some giveaways, that's my choice. Thanks anyway, JasonBCP!

For those of you who aren't into the Facebook thing, we also run an email sign-up contest on our website home page each month. This month we're giving away a box of 601 Pennsylvania Edition cigars, just visit Best Cigar Prices and drop your email in the pop-up to enter.

Also - we actually have a good number of participants on Facebook who have created Facebook profiles solely to join in on the giveaways and such. So, even if you have no desire to use Facebook for any other purposes, you can always create a profile just for contests, if you are so inclined.

Well, I think the purpose is to get the word out on FB by having entrants share posts created by the company...NOT to just throw out boxes of cigars for grabs...so, there's a quid pro quo...you share, help their advertising efforts, you MIGHT get a box of cigars. If you've chosen not to play on FB, well, you're not in a position to help them...so you've made a choice, they've made a choice. There are advantages and disadvantages of playing the FB game, this comes under the category 'disadvantages', I reckon...
