View Full Version : What a Cameroon!

My test cigar for a blend with Cameroon wrapper. Filler is Dominican and Nicaraguan, binder is Colombian. Lots of thick, chewy smoke. Started off with leather and some sweet spice. The spice grew stronger and left a peppery tingle behind as I smoked on. Occasionally a puff would be very peppery, but mostly it was leather, a little wood, and lots of baking spice with the peppery afterburn. Pretty much exactly what I was after. Somewhat Fuente-esque with good pepper for those times I feel like a peppery stick!
Oh, and the draw was perfect. Canoed a little, but nothing I couldn't handle.

I don't know, just don't want to beat a dead horse.http://jeffbaij.com/blog/images/deadhorse.gif
Was going to say it looks just like the pics of the Guten Cala Nach Aussin that one 'Tritones' (also a scruffy nerd herfer... go figure that!) reviewed over on the old site. Hmmm... coincidence? I think NOT!! I think we may have found the secret manufacturer of the fabled Guten Cala cigars!

Now I'm almost offended. My Cameroon cigar is homely - I freely admit that I don't roll handsome cigars. But it's a far cry from anything like as ugly as the Innen Nach Aussen:

OK ... maybe not ...

What are you kidding me? That cigar was a thing of exquisite beauty! Would that all cigars looked like that.

Its the flavor that counts anyway. Look at most curry. Tastes great but looks like its been eaten already, at least any place around here.
Id happily smoke a homely home roll.
