Old Jarl 70 Repair?...

This was listed as a Carl pipe. I thought something was fishy when I did a search in Danish pipes, so I tossed $7.00 at it. Come to find out, it was a Jarl, Made in Denmark pipe and worth quite a bit more than $7.00. It has a hole by the button. Is there an easy repair for something like this?...

I have sent him pipes with whole chunks missing from the bit and he fixed them like new.
