What's your favorite pipe tool?

Just curious as to what pipe tool you use on a regular basis? Not necessarily your most expensive one but the one you grab instinctively when you smoke.

I have grown attached to this one because it is long enough to go to the bottom of my deepest bowled pipes:

I have one I made out of stainless steel and a .308 casing. It's the only thing I use. In fact it's the only one I have.

I find myself using a pair of fingernail clippers for a tamper more and more. They fit easy in my pocket...

My "go to" pipe tamper is my little finger on my right hand. (It's got quite a callus.)

I've got a Jetline Golem pipe lighter with tools attached. Works well for me as I'm prone to many relights!

Then I got all fancy and bought a Czech tool. Now I'm stylin. :pipe:

I have a copper pipe nail one of you guys sent me while I was in Afghanistan. I love it and won't use anything else!

I have pipe nails, a deer antler tamper with a .45acp shell on the end, and a couple others here and there. Nowadays, I usually reach for this. I still prefer my pinky finger to tamp, but I use a pipe nail when I clean the bowl. Vanity made sure it was a silver nail. We will call that.....semi-classy.

I have many pipe nails, a czech tool, and a few fancier pipe tools that came as add-ons with P&C purchases, but what I have found is that when doing my initial light/tamp/relight I use the bottom corner of my zippo to press down the tobacco. And then while smoking I mostly tamp with my finger. The Czech tool or pipe nails mostly find use after smoking, to dig out any stubborn ashes and dottle.

I'd say in general my pipe tools see more use as snuff spoons than tampers.

I puff on the go a lot and hate putting a dirty tamper into my pockets.

This MacBaren tamper is my favorite because the pick and tamper are both concealed.
