Ozone treatment at home?

Has anyone used an ozone generator to build a chamber to deodorize a pipe like Walkers will do?

I have the unfortunate need to rent an Ozone generator for a week, and if I have any extra time left over would like to try cleaning some stinky pipes.

Never messed with an ozone generator at all but I know that Ozone is very damaging to rubber... and since vulcanite is a form of rubber I would be hesitant to treat any such stems with ozone. Lucite/acrylic stems should be fine.
