Excellent.
Glad everything made it.

Out of those samples my favorites are:

Dunhill My Mixture 965
Orlik Golden Sliced - (This was the first pipe tobacco I really enjoyed)
Dunhill Flake
PS Luxury Bullseye Flake
Dunhill Royal Yacht - (Most find this one to be a love it or hate it blend. Not many people on the fence about it. Let me know what you think. It's a strong one so if you're vitamin N sensitive make sure you have it after a meal.)

Hope there's a few in there that jump out at you.

Interesting. I'm a pipe noob Paul and c.ortiz108 was kind enough to send me a few samples a while back and that Orlik Golden Sliced was the one I liked the least. And here it was your favorite. You know your stuff so now I'm going to have to try another bowl with my eyes closed or something.
Will have to wait and see what David says - you know, once he's able to sit upright, take food and speak again.

Well, it's not my favorite tobacco but it does hold a special place with me because as a pipe noob I did what many people did and started off trying aromatics.
It didn't go well at first because I was trying goopy cavendish blends and I was introduced to many new tobaccos via the noob pipe tobacco sampler trade.

I was darn near ready to give up on pipes when I tried OGS. Now as my palate has adjusted I prefer more full flavored blends most of the time. But I still pack a bowl of it now and then, especially on days off when I have a pipe early in the day. That seems to be the sweet spot for it.

But hey, taste is a subjective thing. If we all liked the same things, there wouldn't be nearly as many options to choose from. :pipe:

Glad you like them.

That Sutliff Rum and Maple is like smoking a stack of flapjacks. :pipe:

Yes I know I have a long way to go. Smoked 1 blend back 25 years ago when I was into pipes more than cigars. Surprised to see so many different options out there now. But learning alot from you piper Bums here. Thanks for the info Paul.
