Ha! The only reason I smoked it last night is because I have a cold and my taste buds are all wonky. I smoked this because I remember not liking it so much so I figured it would be a good time for it :) With wonky taste buds it was actually pretty good, great draw but uneven burn.

I remember being told have popular they were when I first got into cigars. I tried one and to this date it is one of less than a 5 cigars I gave up on and threw out because it was trash. Give me a Ron Mexico or a Raji's Untimely demise before you give me another one of these.

HC Rustic Cheroot. A very confusing name considering it’s neither “rustic” or even a “cheroot,” since it comes capped with a closed foot. I tried ripping the piggy off but wasn’t doing anything for me so after cutting it properly it pulls nicely. It has some of the same flavor profiles as the Punches I like so that’s nice, the flavors are just more rough around the edges. Maybe that’s where the “rustic” comes in. Glad Neptune had 5ers so I didn’t have to buy a whole box just to try em.

There boxes of 24, so Tony and I do 10 each and you get the 4 stragglers? Or prefer 8 each? I’m fine either way. They are going to bed, I have more in my smoking humidor.

Haven’t had one of these in a few months, it had a strong pre lit aroma of cedar, in the best way possible. I liked them rott, but I’m about to the 2” mark and it’s so much better then the ones I smoked previously. Seems time does treat these well, might grab some for along nap soon

Sunday Afternoon. Cool overcast looking like rain, temp 38 F, but felt more like 32 or even 30 due to wind.Has Spring been postponed until 2022, 2023, due to C 19 lock downs ?
My Father La Flor De Las Antillas Toro Maduro 6x52. Expect I'm in the minority in that I'm not *mad about maduro* sounds like a song title.
Most often smoke Habano or Sumatra wrapped cigars, but do like a good Maduro, and these fit that bill,when I do from time to time smoke one, can see why so many are real fans of the Maduros.

The smaller cigar in the attached pic. Smoked on this rather cold day. No gauge so not sure of the ring size. Easy light great construction, slow burning,did have to do one relight, my fault, distracted otherwise a sharp burnline, lots of smoke, which is nice,for Me it's well above medium, all in all one very nice smoke. Thanks to Secret Santa Old Smokey. That's one one heck uva selection of fine smokes You sent Steve. Thanks again. Hope the New Year is going well for You and Yours.

Another gem from Nature. Warped is a brand that, 5 years ago, I mocked for not being high octane enough. My palate has since warmed up nicely to more medium bodied smokes. Guardian of the Farm is an all time favorite. This doesn’t disappoint either. So much flavor.

I was shocked at how straight it burned - didn't think it could looking like it does. Thought it was fun and unique (and something Tony might not have) so I grabbed a couple for the road.

Drew Estate Acid Kuba Maduro. My first infused Cigar.

Had 6 different Acids gifted to me to try. Definitely very different and flavorful and produced a ton of smoke.

Didn't dislike it, but can't say I particularly cared for it either. No tobacco flavor at all, and that's what I'm used to and what I enjoy.

Happy place. Thanks to Brimy for this one. These are simply bliss. A perfect cigar for my palate. Looking forward to trying the Brimstone that WNYTONY sent me, too. I’m lucky that nicotine doesn’t seem to have much of an effect on me. Love these high octane smokes!

Saturday Afternoon.
Esteban Carreras Chupa Cabra Hellcat Box Pressed Toro. Most likely 6.75 x 54. Don't have a gauge and didn't measure length the cigar has a pigtail that makes it that bit longer.
Almost, but not quite too soft feeling, somewhat loosely packed rather than too soft. Easy light no need for touch ups or relighting, good smoke output.More complex than any of the other Esteban Carreas cigars I've smoked.There's some spice pepper, not a lot but there, and wild cherry, faint but it is one of the few flavours I can put a name too. Intend to smoke more of these. Burn time was Seventy Three Minutes.

You ever have a draw so perfect that it almost feels wasted on the cigar you’re smoking? No shade on this Asylum stick, it’s a decent enough smoke but dang... I’ve had some very tasty cigars that would have benefited greatly from a pull like this bad boy has.
