Glad you liked the Serie V , not bad and not too oversized, good for a short time. But dang, 105* sounds kinda too warm. Roun here we've been hitting 80s~90s, with high Humidity.
But, also rain for a few days now, can still smoke outside, if it's light rain .Rather smoke at night, usually cooler, and quieter. Right here... in doors, right now its 75 F - & 71 H .Fixin to get out for a smoke, wet outdoors but not raining at the moment.

Agreed, it’s been brutally hot the last couple weeks. I’m think I’m gonna finally bite the bullet and either have someone enclose part of the back porch, or have a small room added on. Then no matter how hot or cold it is, not more smoking outside, but still not smoking in the house.

Tried the Leather Rose tonight.
Pre-light - very prominent smell of baking chocolate or cocoa powder.
I know why it’s called Leather -
Very strong taste of oiled leather from the first draw. Almost leaving feeling like an oily film on my tongue and lips.
The smoke was copious with a bluish cast, clinging to the cigar and my fingers.

Imagine what a pair of brand new, black leather gloves or new leather jacket smell like if you buried your nose in them. The leather stayed full on until tapering down with under two inches left. The cocoa flavor wasn’t as strong on flavor as the pre light, but it is definitely sweetened.
It was like dipping a new leather belt in a can of baking cocoa powder and then dragging it through powdered sugar, rolling it up and lighting it.
Interesting and unique. It was enjoyable, but not an everyday smoke for me. Once in a while for something different.

My first of these. I’ve heard they’re overrated considering the #1 rating and I would solidly agree. All black pepper on the tongue. Got a little sweeter in the middle but overall, very one-dimensional. Didn’t burn great either given three months rest.

And then this budget-friendly cigar blew it out of the water. Got this El Bigote from my local boutique B&M. Lot of red hot candy notes. Nice and spicy. Just so much going on it’s hard to pinpoint. Check them out. Surprised it’s mostly Honduran. It packs a punch.

Yeah, do not like cigars that burn unevenly, need touch ups or worse...relights, kill all interest in the things. Should really be tossing them away, but often it's the onliest one I have with me. A couple or three cigars from Don Pepin Garcia that I've smoked recently have burned unevenly, dif blend/ lines, so it is not just cigars from a single box or of one size only. Nit pickin' furst whorl probs...need tew drank mo.

Nature did such a great review of the Leather Rose I decided to try the Sweet Jane. Had no idea what they were or little research which is not my norm but the tiny shop here in the town I am in for vacation had these along with some other great smokes that to be honest surprises the hell out of me for a small shop in a tourist town.

Didn't know this had a sweet tip but once you get past that this cigar is really great, it definitely doesn't need the tip it would be really good.

Great minds..put a pork butt on at 8am at 225 in oak/apple mix be ready about 5pm. In the meantime I’ll burn a Fuentes too!

The Cabaiguan is great, like top 5 Tats, though I prefer the Maduro. The Plume was quite tasty, even ROTT. Not an instant favorite, but still good.

How did these compare through the years? I think I've only had the 2020, which was great. I've seen the 2019s still out and about online, maybe even the 2018s.They are a little different each year. Size, length, wrapper, blend. This is banded 2014 but it's actually 2017 which was the same everything as '14 so they used the bands up. Some better than others but overall very good.

HR Signature Hermoso Habana 5.13x48. Hiroshi Robiana blends some excellent cigar would be interesting to smoke one of these along with the Cuban version, which is really a fine cigar tho a good deal higher price than this one, but I think this NC at its price point is surely good value for the $.

It was definitely Rufus, it is ALWAYS Rufus. Maxine is an angel sent from heaven and I love her, she is my baby. Rufus is my husband's dog and is 5 lbs of piss and vinegar

That brown label was the 1st that I tried and it is a phenomenal smoke ROTT or with some rest!

The Robania name is more commonly associated with VR (Vegas Robania). Know for his Cuban cigars.

Which are a third of my tp three Havanas, the other two being the La Gloria Cubana & the Ramon Allones. If You want to PM Me your Mailing info, will send a couple of the Hermosos to you.

Can’t remember who sent me this, but thank you. This is my first of these. This is very well rested. Was expecting something one-note. Nope. Very complex with a ton of graham cracker goodness. Reminds me a lot of Coyol from AB.

I love them all BUT the Blue's are my favorites, of course I'm a Nicaraguan full strength lover. Bought a couple of boxes of toro's in 2018 on an auction site (NOT THAT ONE) and picked them up for $5.88 a stick, wish I could grab them a that price now.
