Wednesday Morning. San Revelation Mystic 5.6x48. along with two cups of coffee on overcast, dull Day. Sunshine does not seem likely to show up.
At least yesterday was warm clear and Sunshiney, spent about two hours walking on the beach, not a lot of people out despite the nice weather, couple of fishermen just feeding the fish. Very good air quality.

Excuse my language, but god damn this is good. Tat Havana VI. I’ve had this in two other vitolas — the torpedo and corona— and thought it was just a decent Tat. But this Churchill is singing. Tons of baking spice, the retro is sweet cream, cedar and pepper. I really love this 7x47 size. A wonderful evening.

Decided to give one of these J.D. Howard Reserve HR46 a try. Been on my list to try And finally grabbed a five pack. Only about an inch in and I am not disappointed, I firmly believe these will do well with several months on them. Again based on the first inch alone, I might hate it by the second third, lol

You know that is something I would probably never notice. I bought alot of churchill's when I started. It felt like better value for the money. Then I went to more robusto and toro sizes. Better on time compared to churchill's. Now I never really buy any churchill's.

I only smoke cigars when I have the time to relax for a couple hours, so I like Churchills, especially when they’re at that 47 ring gauge. It’s really the perfect vitola for me. But I agree, it’s not that common for me because toros and robustos are so prevalent.

Tonight, a Warped DROP Dragons Wish. This is a ligero bomb—probably more pepper on the palate than I usually like, but still very enjoyable. Thanks to dinoa2 for this.

County wide Parks...Beaches & Golf Courses to reopen Sat
One reason given for the opening of the Parks, beaches & Golf courses was "the Mental Health" of the residents.
A guy who works there told me that the two cemeteries,located right next to each other have had only four burials during March & April.

Nice Habano wrapped cigar, easy light,sharp burn line,no need of a touch up. Until with an inch left the draw went dang near down to zero,
a couple of finger pinches on the cigar,opened the draw up and the smoke output came right back up.

First of the day. Black Label Padron. CRA cigar. Super easy draw. Great burn. I mean, it is a Padron. Dark pepper and earthy flavors. Really strong hints of fire cured flavors and smells. Dont think it is supposed to be? But its damn good that way. Makes me think a fire cured Padron would be pretty awesome.

Started the light just as the sun was coming up. Dunbarton Mi Querida. Nice wood, some semi-sweet coffee flavor in the backing. Little bit of bitter dark chocolate swirling in there. Pretty good, but think I enjoyed the Umbagog a bit more. Maybe rest on both will change that. Maybe not.

Started out very tasty, great burn.
After about an inch and a half, it began to tunnel horribly.
My fear was that with a touch up it would continue to burrow down the center. Tried correcting by knocking all of the ash off and letting it go completely out followed by a relight.
It did correct the tunnel, but it had already burned over a third of the way down inside. It helped, but never did fully recover. Chalk this one up to a natural product that is hand made. Too bad, was really enjoying it before this. Will give another one a go sometime.

I too had an awful experience with that cigar. And it was a B&M purchase so I paid full MSRP, which made it all that much worse.

Had another. These are great for the price. Plumes of smoke. Sweet, spicy and cedar-y.

Charter Oak I got in a recently purchased sampler. Dated back to Sep 2018. Not bad, not great either. A little bit too much of a bitter nutty flavor for my liking. This was the Lonsdale, so maybe a bigger vitola would settle it some. Had some nice spots of sweetness but that is all that really stood out. The yardbird run is looking pretty good.
I never went that far with it tho. Chickens devastate any enclosed area to the point of scorched earth - which defeats the point of a run IMO. I have a large fenced in area (enclosed w/ 5ft high wire fence - which they still managed to devastate) and I let them roam free as much as possible so they can forage. I lose one now and then, mostly to coons and opossums, but I trap and kill as many of them as I can. Mostly have little trouble with predators if I take the trouble to lock them in every night.

Just got them in last week and some rest will be a benefit but I am liking it. I smoked a larger size a while back and it was great but I ordered a box of corona because it's my preferred size. They are made by J Fuego and the construction and burn are fantastic for a $5 cigar.

It definitely was at least spring last week but we've had snow 2-3 days this week. My co-worker got their camper out and started readying it for the season and then had to re-winterize it when they saw the weather this week.

I've got one that about 5yrs old that I've been contemplating burning.Mine was in the 4-5 year range. My experience has been these have shifted over time. Seems to lose some of the chocolate (I dubbed these chocolate bombs) and move to a more leathery profile. I wonder if some of the wrapper oils dissipate, because these also used to burn with a rolling blue smoke.

I'm curious to see what your thoughts are when you put fire to yours.

Room 101 LTD Conjura. Small guy, but pretty good old Room 101. Cedar and probably the most cinnamon I have tasted in a cigar. First bit reminded me of big red for a few puffs. Was pretty good though.

Well I'd love to report that it was freaking awesome but sadly I have to reserve judgement for now. This was pretty much ROTT and when I opened this box I noticed one had a tear running down the back side of the wrapper. I think it may have stuck to the cedar sleeve between the cigars. Long story short I tried to repair it with some of the unfinished foot but it didn't work. It lasted a little while - long enough for the pic at least, but then it pretty much blew up on me. I wound up smoking the last third without a wrapper on it. So it wasn't really a fair test and I'm reserving any judgement until I can smoke another.

Uh oh - new beer to me. Was it really the best of the recent other 3?For me its between this and the green bottle tripel (which I forgot to take pictures of), but I prefer old fashion Belgian ales. All were amazing thought. As for the darker stuff I really liked the Prior 8 which had an acidity that was really complimentary to a cigar. I just wish they were a little more affordable to drink everyday.
