Haven’t seen one of those in a while. Damn good.

Two Corojos for me tonight. My first JFR XT. This was a beautiful cigar from start to finish. First of all, it’s a pigtail, box pressed AND has a closed foot. They might be ornamental, but they provide a placebo effect of enjoyment because they look so cool. Second of all, it’s Aganorsa.

These must have fallen behind a shelf at CigarBid, because the cello was brown. Might have lost some spice in that time, but it was a great smoke with a ton of flavor.

And then the La Aurora is a really nice budget corojo. Packs a good punch.

Don't think Wakes are being allowed.
Also not really much chance of finding people waking up on the beach this early in the season.

Spill the beans! I’m curious.It's the bonsai. A cigar dojo exclusive made by aganorsa. I bought it simply because it said it was using a Corojo wrapper from Jalapa, which was my rabbit hole into this world. By far my favorite wrapper to this day, and given it's an Aganorsa I couldn't pass these up. If you've ever had a perdomo habano in corojo, this is times 3. That spicy sweet earth is very prominent in the front, and the salty caramel long finish makes my taste buds water in anticipation of the next puff. Retro at your own risk, after all it's still an AJ stick.

Ive heard good things about this double Connecticut Brickhouse, so I thought this wonderful rainy morning would be a good time to test drive it. Wow. Just wow. Planned to smoke one cigar, changed to this because of the rain.
San Cristobal Quintessence Epicure 6x52.
Didn't know what to expect form this one, but was quite nice when smoked slowly.
A half inch in and the retrohale was excellent. Very white ash, looked as if it would drop off quickly but held for close to two inches.
At about the 45 minute mark there was a distinct flavour shift, can not put a name to it, sure nice tho.
Total burn time: Two hours and nine minutes.

Battlegrounds Cigar c/o WNYTONY infused with leadslinger whiskey. Pretty good, felt a little guilty smoking it while driving.

Ha ha - I remember seeing that one and thinking it looked like something you would smoke Ryan - huge, green and whiskey infused !
Hope it wasn't anything too awful.

I really enjoyed it. Battlefield cigars are solid. I have smoked maybe 6 of there lines and enjoyed them all. As far as whiskey cigars this was one of the best I have had. I am looking forward to the Bourbon one you sent. Thank Tony!

I gotta admit, I was shocked to find a sweetened tip on the cigar. Not that there's anything wrong with that - my morning goto used to be baccarats. The sweetness on the Brulee isnt to the level of said baccarat, but its noticeable.


Bella, my Husky was giving me "the look", so I took the cigar with on our walk. I can't believe how well it held up - a testament to Dunbarton quality.

Saturday Evening smoke.
After a couple of hours walking on the, *crowded, beaches.fired up this very Last one of it's ilk in the Humidor.

* Crowded beaches is not an exaggeration, considering that it's only the second time in a Month that I've seen so many people on the beach, the first time was on a warmer day, what stood out today was groups of about 10 to 18 people , just hanging out. either Family size increased, or less attention is being paid to the social distancing. More small boats seen close to shore too.
