Smoking right now. Forgot how much smoke it put off.. But really enjoying it. Still a personal favorite. This is 5 years old.. Lost a bit of spice but gives a nice rustic tobacco flavor. Need to grab me some of the short robustos.

I have not. I’ve mostly bought the small ring Daggers but had also a 5er of their Robusto. I’ve always felt they were outstanding, especially for the price.The OG MX2 is the cigar that really pushed me over the edge into the hobby. Loved 'em.

I too have run into a few bad ones in the larger sizes recently and I've since held off on them. I really need to grab a single next time I'm in a shop.

I'm hooked on the Orellana right now and have twice tried to buy a box and have been foiled.

Illusione Corojo from Kidvegas - my first of these. If you’re a lover of corojo cigars as I am, look no further. This is quintessential. Probably the closest I’ve had a NC come to tasting like the forbidden fruit of the ISOM. Reminds me of a Bolivar. Really strong with lots of cedar, pepper, dried fruit and slight sweetness. Man, this is tasty. Thanks, good sir. A cab of these might be in my future.

Tried another of these Punch cigars. A bit of rest greatly improved it, but it could still use a bit more. And it doesn’t seem too small as most <30 rings feel to me (29 ring so I guess it’s close enough).

I like to look up unknown to me cigars people mention on CI as I feel they give a good amount of info and it’s where I buy the bulk of my smokes. One of the reasons I tend to shy away from Fuente cigars is the handful I have smoked have that really strong cedar flavor. It's present here, but a lot milder to blend with the normal tobacco taste. It definitely wouldn't be bad on an empty stomach, I don't think. It's not going to deliver a nicotine bomb or burn out your taste buds. I also didn't find it to be too bland, the little hints of spice and cedar kept it from being just dull and one sided.

I also don't see them listed in this particular blend/size on CI. Check out Famous..You can get a single, or a 5 pack..but at 3.92 and 17.99 respectively, I just threw the dart and bought the box.

Thanks! Might just have to try out Famous then. I often deal with JR but they don’t have 5ers or single time of many of the cigars I love and buy often. I’ve also dealt with Corona and Underground, and another I can’t think of. But CI seriously gets the bulk of my business.

Warped El Oso Mama lancero.. Sadly its a little bland. It is from '14 so maybe they dont age well. Not a lot of anything for me but a little peppery tobacco and hints of woodyness. Thought it would be a bit stronger. Draw is a tad too tight too. Guess they cant all be winners.

Cremating the last of an original. One of my absolute favorites from back then.. From the first limited production before they rereleased. El Centurion. Have yet to have the new release. I hope it is the same.. Need to get me some to try.

All of the flavors are subtle but each distinctly present. Cold draw prelight has a nice sweet aroma. Faint honey and hay. The cigar lit nicely and is burning even. Foot constantly producing lots of smoke even long between puffs. Leather and an oaky wood flavor dance together. There is always that nice subtle spice with just a hint of semi sweetness on the lips. The draw is very loose but its perfect for this cigar. Allows for a ton of creamy white smoke with hardly no effort. This, fot me is one of the cigars all others are compared to in terms of how the flavors combine and play off of eaxh other. Everything is there, but nothing is over powering.

The Centurion is & always has been an EXCELLENT smoke! Even the 2and blend (2K?) Is nice. Enjoy that smoke!

Finally had a chance to give one of those Laranja Reserva Short Churchill’s a try on Saturday. Burn time was nearly 2.5hrs, enjoyed it a good bit and can’t wait to see how they are with some rest. Milder than I was expecting, but not in a bad way, creamy goodness throughout. Had a wee stuffy nose so I’ll have to revisit soon to pick out some subtle notes.

Enjoying a Tat 10th Anniversary on this pleasant Sunday afternoon. These are probably in my top 5 Tats, and that’s saying a lot since I’m a Tat fan for the most part.

Did some work at the new place today. We’re refinishing the floors upstairs. A couple hours of pulling up carpet tack strips and now this. My first Snakebite. In fact, my first 601. This is a great cigar. Actually reminds me a lot of a Pepin, specifically the blue label. Trying out the new porch, too!

Archetype Initiation. Not super complex, but not a bad medium profile. No real wood.. Some mild earth and a nice level of spice in the back of the mouth. Stronger burn in the retrohale with some leather hints. Cant complain for what I paid. Not wowed but decent enough to burn through most of them. Will give them some rest and try another in about 2-3 weeks

Early Morning Connecticut cause I am not sure I will be able to squeeze anything else in. Trying my hand at making a single ashtray during the smoke. Just got these yesterday so a little wonky burn all through. But damn with a week rest I think I will enjoy. Room 101 Ichiban conny bundle from Cigars Int. Won on CBid for like 1.20 a cigar.

Woody and a nice hint of pepper. Creamy texture. Actually digging it and will definitely grab more if I can keep getting them thar cheap. Smoked it pretty hot and it stayed enjoyable. Want to get the habano version to try next.

Pretty nice dark flavor profile without being over strong. Actually managed to pick up what I would consider a black coffee flavor, but I am not at all a coffee drinker so I may be off there. Some unsweet chcolate. Not really any spice in the regular draws. A hint of it and some really dark wood tones in the retrohale.

Rd 2 a chaveta cigar. Not sure when I got it or how. I dont think I bought it. Research says they were rolled in 2012. I don't think they are around anymore which is a shame. Good stick

Got a couple extra hours tonight from work. Decided to give Hiram & Solomon a first try. Entered Apprentice.
Smooth woody nutty taste to start. Very very minimum spice in the background. Easy open draw and burning nicely. Little more spice and dark wood on the retrohale.
Cold draw was sweet and a little floral. Pretty nice cigar. Looking forward to comparing it to the other line I bought.

Bought another of their samplers because the Connecticut version was discontinued and I didn’t recall what I thought of it. Meh. It’s bland so I can see why. The other two are great and it amazes me how they were able to accomplish so much flavor without wrecking the hop flavors of beer.
