I figured with the beginning of the year I could make up for a bit of damnation in my life seeing I have 11 months, but if this is what damnation is like call me in! I certainly like how bold it is without being overbearing! Thanks CTS!

I’m now halfway through this and it is deceptively easy to smoke for a med-full smoke. I’m liking this even more! The sniff from the virgin end seemed powerful, and for me, a bit scary, but have no fear, I will make it through to the other side.

*SECONDARY EDIT*

I’m not one to pinpoint the tastes I often see mentioned in the details I read, but is that like a dark leathery taste? I’m really digging this CTS. Damnation indeed and in a very fine way!

*TERTIARY EDIT*

Here near the end I find this deeper, darker, blacker, but not unpleasant much like my wife’s heart. This is fantastic!

These HVCs are just so damn good. This one from Privada Cigar Club. Spending $10 for a cigar is actually not a common occurrence for me. I’m a total cheapskate and get all the deals on CBid. With Gurkhas you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince, and since I did cigar reviews for us for years and didn't get to choose my sticks, I have kissed a lot of Gurkhas. There are a few that I really like, and even more that are okay (generally for my 3rd or 4th smoke of the day when my taste buds are kind of shot).

CT shade, good smoke which I’ve had a few. Not to be confused with the regular Undercrown that’s more of a medium/full.

Lancero indeed. And as Sean (@CentralTimeSmoke) pointed out, it burned like a charm. Flavor wise, will probably not going to have another one. Not bad by any means, just a good amount of wet campfire for the first 1/3 that just didn't do it for me. Not sure if these are supposed to have firecured tobacco, but it sure tasted like it.

Me either. I usually buy corona, lance or robusto sized cigars. I have never bought a single one of those 60+ donkey dicks and don't intend to. I even prefer pipes with smaller bits. Don't like those big, fat, rapidly tapering bits you see on a lot of Petersons.

An experiment 6 months in the making. Back in August I placed 2 edges corojo in my lighter box in my garage and forgot them for 2 months. When I found them, I decided to see how long they will store in such fluctuating environment. After many 70-0 degree weather days and who knows what rh, I decided to light one up tonight.
Aside from it being hard as a twig, I'm really surprised how well it's drawing, burning and how the flavor isn't much different from what I remember. Late to the Party but, definitely agree with some of the others that the Fausto is a fine smoke. Went through two boxes and Haven’t replenished... not for lack of wanting just cash is tight. My personal opinion with anything Tat have some patience, Haven’t had anything from this outfit with less than a year at a nice Rh that was worth a damn! Ain’t trying to twist any arms but as a Tat fan I’ve come to realize as with the Cuban realm a nice nap goes a long way!

Evening smoke after a nice long walk on the sand at the beach on a quite cold night under bright moon. The it is fine for all night Bob. Mr Brownstone Chuchy the first from two boxes
that had a very tight draw, needed several touch ups until the final third which burned very smoothly.

Davidoff Colorado Claro Special T from Privada. One of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked. Superb. More spice than I’m used to from Dominican cigars. That’s why I usually don’t like Dominican cigars. There’s a sweet spiciness, almost like a red hot. Too bad these are $20 cigars. If you’re looking for a treat to buy and stow away, smoking only a couple a year, this is it.

The LP Nicaraguan was the price of admission. Nice smoke, but not wowed. Rather monotone. And for a shop/lounge cigar, IT BURNED PERFECTLY!!! No touch ups, no relights.

I once saw a dude smoking a cigar at my local cigar bar with the cedar sleeve still on it. What’s crazy is that it seemed to burn well. I didn’t see any touch ups. It smelled like burning trash.

Enjoying this one from either dinoa2 or Cool Breeze - y’all both sent one of these to me. Le Bijou was my first premium and favorite cigar for a long while. I’ve smoked a lot of great cigars since, but it’s still gotta be in my top 5. Just superb. I especially like these robustos. Little firecrackers.

Had this one for the Packers Hawks game. Haven’t had one of these in ages. I’ve been resting a box for nearly a year and a half. That’s historically been their sweet spot for me and these are no different. I still stand by these as the best budget smoke ever made. If you gave me an unbanded one and told me these were some fancy boutique smoke, I’d still be impressed.

The Viva La Vida is very nice for a 56rg! It burned excellent and the ash held for at least 1 1/2" at a time. Construction was done well.
Did you know that the Regius are blended by Placencia?! I have to get into their brand a bit more knowing that.

Late, again,posting here. Night time smoke. Mr. Brownstone Smack Maduro by Esteban Carreras. Smoked while strolling on the boardwalk late Tues Night/early Wednesday Morning. After the rain ended, clear sky very fresh moisture laden air...the cigar smoked/tasted better than any of these I've smoked to date. Easy light sharp burn line.... it were a good 'un.

Small package...In the past that would've been Villiger...back when they were Cuban.I think they were No.7s.Haven't smoked any small pack Villigers recently. But if you like the dry cigars they might be worth a try. There was a non Cuban Magicos that was quite nice, not a long cigar, and I cant recall the ring gauge...more importantly cannot remember the brand name...NYTONY...surely would know that Heck TONY is the man with the real skinny on the short smokes. My fav non cubn short cigar was the San Cristobal Del Sol by Pepin Garcia, but they are long gone now. A Fuente Hemingway Short Story...good but too $$ for me. There are a few Cubans, Vegueros. Quinteros and the Romeo y Julieta En Cedros , H. Upmann. That might fit the bill. However not all available in small pkgs.
Sorry, not a helluva lot of help here. Maybe if I luck out and can more than a single brain cell to light up might come up with a better answer.

I was rather skeptical until I was sent one in a package. Maybe not a high rate smoke, but it wasn’t bad. I think a part of it is the stigma. I’ve had those Serie 55 cigarillos and think they are more than worth the price. Not my favorite little smoke, but there’s just not a lot of options that aren’t either really crappy, too expensive for scraps rolled up, or not available as a stand alone tin which is the trouble I’m finding with the Avo Classic Puritos now, which is the best small cigar next to the little Cubans, I’ve had.

I had a gift card for Leaf Only on my Christmas wish list. I’ve really been thinking I should try rolling my own again but making a mold to create a 45 ring (who doesn’t like a large caliber, errr, ring?) with grooves cut into the bottom half to make them 4”, 5.5”, and the end at 7” so as make whatever length I desire. I’d have this mold counter sunk to use wing nuts to clamp it instead of my little statue to weigh it down. I recently looked at their site but they have no Maduro kits at the moment. I need to find someone with a saw to cut a 2x8 and a drill press to make it properly.

Decided to try the Maduro since I ordered a tin of the cigarillos. At first it was a bit harsh but rounded out and mellowed fairly quickly. However it refuses to stay lit and it’s been kept at 65% for 2 months or so.

First, let me tell you all how much I appreciated receiving this cigar. I had an order canceled from over selling and Mrs. Gunner stopped in a shop that had them, but was sent home with a wise man maduro because they sold out.

Ever since I laid eyes on this cigar, I was in love. Foundation makes (imo) great cigars. The beautiful San Andres maduro wrapper. A light box press with that pigtail. And that band - one of the coolest ever!

Tony is kind enough to send me one before HE has even tried one!

And guess what? I didn't like it. I hope I don't sound like an ungrateful a-hole. But I know I would rather hear the truth from you guys, so I hope you see it the same way.

The taste of this cigar was a musty/ashy flavor. Not barnyard, but wet, campfire ash. The taste just stuck to my mouth.

I HAVE to think that something was off with this single stick. I'd still try another and hope Tony has one soon so we hear his thoughts.

No.1 cigar of the year from Halfwheel is the Joya De Nicaragua Antano Connecticut it sounds like one I’ll pursue. Brimy we’ll have to find one for you to sample it has an Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper with a couple different Nicaraguan binders inside medium full creamy with spice
