Local distillery, bandits distilling. Honestly so far it’s my least favourite. It’s not horrible just not what I expected. A good splash of lemon juice in it helps to give it what it’s lacking though.

We get so mixed up in looking out for the next best thing. And then there’s the Oliva V, which has consistently been one of the best cigars in all vitolas. I hope you enjoyed it. I smoked a lancero a couple months ago and wondered aloud why I don’t smoke them all the time. Haven’t had one since. Time to stock up.

Good read here on half wheel about it, which I didn't know before I smoked it but it lived up to it. Also it's available on Atlantic in fivers for 40 which seems pretty cheap for the quality of smoke it was.

Not sure how long this has on it other than the 6 or 7 months I've had it. It's really good though about halfway through so far. I would compare it to a Roma Inteperance except with out the pepper, this is way more smooth and creamy almost, which I love because I'm not really into a lot of spicy stuff. I'm sucker for Nicaraguan filler and this Brazilian wrapper is pretty smooth.

Love those New World.

The Palinas are very inconsistent, sometimes there awesome and some times they suck. I got into them because of the Goldie line, which is one of my favorite cigar. Especially the Dalia.

Last nights smoke Esteban Carreras Chupacabra Maduro Corona, nice short cigar.
Was plumb out of cigars waiting for a delayed box of Romeo y Julieta Coromitas en Cedros hit local shop picked up the Chupacabra and two Mr. Brownstones, a 4.5x4 6EMS and a 6x52 Smack Toro. The Smack was the first Esteban Carreras cigar I smoked, and it sold me on the Mr. brownstone line.
Got the RyJ coronitas today, smoking one ROTT now. Twenty six days order to got em.
Lucky they came in before I head off on a long overdue vacation, have to get away from the Joisey heat & humidity heading to a cooler destination.

I think I jinxed myself when I said I rarely pitch cigars. This was doomed from the start. It came pretty severely cracked from CBid. They refunded the money. I patched it with some cigar glue. Still had an unknown hole somewhere and I was barely getting any smoke. Any taste I was getting wasn’t good. I won’t totally write it off, but I don’t see myself trying it again anytime soon.

Went back and got this beaut. One of the rare truly great RPs.

Since that smoke didn’t last all that long I went back for one of these crappy cigarillos. Hard to complain, though they’re too small (I wanted nothing less than 30 ring), as I know Don at Underground Cigars gave me way more than $50 worth of smokes in a blind sampler. But these things won’t stay lit longer than 20-30 seconds. It’s also the type of smoke I found the beetle hole in a couple of months back:

Last nights smoke Esteban Carreras Chupacabra Maduro Corona, nice short cigar.
Was plumb out of cigars waiting for a delayed box of Romeo y Julieta Coromitas en Cedros hit local shop picked up the Chupacabra and two Mr. Brownstones, a 4.5x4 6EMS and a 6x52 Smack Toro. The Smack was the first Esteban Carreras cigar I smoked, and it sold me on the Mr. brownstone line.
Got the RyJ coronitas today, smoking one ROTT now. Twenty six days order to got em.
Lucky they came in before I head off on a long overdue vacation, have to get away from the Joisey heat & humidity heading to a cooler destination.

Yes, I liked the Esteban Carreras cigars myself. Coincidentally, it was a Mr. Brownstone in the same size I had last Saturday evening sharing some time with my son in Lincoln. I picked out a Chupacabra for him. I will have to look out for the Smack.

That price range, for me, is saved for Cohibas. But then I generally don’t spend more than about $12 on a smoke.

Local distillery, bandits distilling. Honestly so far it’s my least favourite. It’s not horrible just not what I expected. A good splash of lemon juice in it helps to give it what it’s lacking though.

I DON'T have a jar of fine Oklahoma peach shine, but if I did I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy it.....

The first one I had of these was not a fluke. These are great.

I’m going to assume that Alec Bradley took a loss on this one. It was marketed as a super premium and has a high MSRP, but I’m regularly getting them for around $3-4 on CBid. That can’t be good....except for me.

Thank you Steve. We were both old and hard headed and the last time we together we were exchanging knuckle sandwiches. It was stupid at the time (2009), but he tossed a blind roundhouse on my left jaw and it was on. We were pulled apart after I dotted his eye and I never really understood what was up his ass. Anyhow, I've been trying to patch it up for the last few years as we're family. I just hope all is well when I get to heaven and kick his ass at Monopaly. Good night to all....

Can't wait to be back home.I know the feeling. I totally understand the no smoking rooms - Even I dont want to stay in a smoked in room. But the outright ban on balconies, patios, poolside, and in many cases anywhere else on the property is frustrating.

Assholes ruin it for everyone. Hotels get sick of picking up cigarette butts that inconsiderate morons flick off the edge of the balcony.

I bring a pipe and a couple decent smelling tobaccos (which I usually don't even smoke) but if I do get a pipe moment, nobody cares about the insignificant amount of ash left over from a bowl. In the event there's more than ash left over I can flush that down the toilet. I wouldn't ever smoke in the room. I don't smoke in my own house either. But I'll burn a bowl in the evening out on a balcony if there is one.
