Absolutely loved the Kudzu Lancero, so I decided to try the Jacobs Ladder Lancero on Saturday. Not as good as the Kudzu, but they also have no resting time on them. Not a bad smoke, just not as good. Some time may change that, we will see.

That’s right! Totally forgot about that. I knew that when I first got this cigar, but it didn’t come to mind when I smoked it.
Since Total Flame cigars originated in Russia, I can see why there may be a greater chance of using more unusual tobaccos like from Iran.

It was fairly smooth and creamy. Did not have hardly any pepper spice to it. It did kind of sneak up on me though, was beginning to feel the N effects by the end.

These were one of my early box purchases back when they were under Espinosa & Ortega brand and rolled in the My Father factory. I remember them fondly.
I still have a single specimen remaining from that box!

When Erik Espinosa and Eddie Ortega split, Espinosa got the brand, but not the blend. La Zona (Espinosa) has been attempting to recreate near the original with AJF

Interesting Dojo this week. If anyone here is interested in the nerdier parts of the cigar industry, there’s lots of info on IPCPR and changes to that show and the industry itself. They’re looking to open it up to consumers, but at a pretty ridiculous price.

Enjoying a Cinco Vegas Robusto as I have a two-ish hour window before the world needs me again. Even though sh!ts been tough with all the water here, we've made the best of it. Our crappie fishing is screwed with the lake levels being crazy, but we've gone below the damn and caught over a hundred catfish. We still have to put new flooring down, and a bunch of other stuff at the lake and farm, but we're all alive and it's just stuff. and tonight tried this year's Angel's Anvil SoCal gunner it was right out of the freeze cycle but a very smooth smoke. A buddy came over to sample it with me and we both liked it, thought it was very smooth but there wasn't a huge flavor transition at this early stage. Give em some rest.

Working away as WNYTONY does, only the rare day of rest each year. The dangerous environment Tony is forced to work boggles the mind.
Consider that there are water hazards scattered about, who knows Crocodiles, Piranhas, Snorkelers? Sand traps...likely Quicksand. And here and there flag flying at the edges of sinkholes He must avoid. Even the risk of weird meteorites resembling hailstones,with their shiny pitted surfaces falling from above.
One can but stand in awe of the courage this brave man has. And I've not even mentioned the chance of His Excellency Sir. Dog Rockets, in His pantless state lurking among the trees.

The Speed Triple is an awesome bike - I can't complain.

It's a great multi-purpose tool.

I used to do lots of trackdays on my Speedy. I got to where I was needing a little more power, and the used GSX-R called to me. But I won't get rid of my Speedy.

I really like it Brian. A great medium smoke, great burn and it smoked nice and slow even in the wind. 2nd Bespoke I've had and I've really liked both. I've been gifted both and have one more sitting but I may be buying a few very soon.
