How was it?

It was just ok. Insidious is by Asylum. I've had one in the past that I really enjoyed. Might have been a different size. The tip has a little sweetness added that fades as you smoke. It's decent enough tobacco and good construction. This particular one didn't blow my skirt up, but I smoke the whole stick.

Finally getting some flavors after a head cold. Still not 100%, but this RB torpedo is blissful after a week and a half without a cigar. Watching the pigskin match.

First smoke of the night was for the wife. A Foudation Cigar The Upsetters. This is a Jamaican cured tobacco they use herbs so the cigar is herbal floral sweet with pepper on the side of the toungue but the cigar changes to coffe and earth then to pure pepper. Very interesting cigar.
My Father the Judge was second for tonight. First one of these, the draw was a bit tight, but my draw tool fixed that. It was ROTT, so I am sure that didn't help.
Had a medium body around the second 3rd and was a fairly decent smoke. With some rest these could be pretty tasty I believe.

Going to smoke a yellow-celloed JR Knockoff that's supposed to taste like a Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 6
I have no idea what a Behike tastes like and have no intention to find out so the comparison is lost on me.

Not a bad cigar so far. Creamy, sweet-ish and nutty with a touch of both cedar and that strange 'bite' I get from a CAO MX2... almost like the cigar was carbonated and I'm smoking some kind of soda pop stick.

Really makes my coffee with half-n-half taste good. Tastes like nuts and cream.

Sunday Morning. Cornelius & Anthony Daddy Mac Corona Gorda...5.5x46. Plumb forgot I had a few of these hidden away in the old Montecristo jar. Lit up and right away theres a sweet Cantalope taste...but that might've due to just having eaten some Cantalope. Yup a few minutes later and all I'm getting from this cigar, aside from smoke, is a tobacco taste. So much for me a developin sophisticated palate. Expect that any hint of wood would indicate an awareness of a pallet in the vicinity. Maybe it's more to do with that Tennessee Geo Dickel.

Ok a gun-guy has to know; what work are you performing on the Deagle?Failure to load issue. Customer reported that the rounds were failing to chamber if not the first round always by round 3.
Found 1 crack in one mag minor issue. But gun certainly had a failure to load issue.
Marked rounds that failed to load, noted position relative to feed ramp barrel and chamber. Reloaded mag reran test. Same rounds failed as previously failed. Examined rounds noted the tips were deforming. Issue resolved by applying knife to led tips to make them more pointed.
Reloaded clip reran test all rounds load and eject flawlessly. Of note Deagle ramp pops round up to clear barrel edge due to to design of locking bolt. So rounds should not be soft and flat.

In the beer ranking I'd rate the New castle a bit nearer the top than I'd place the Matilde amongst the cigars.

I eyeball those every time I place an order, I guess I will put them on my to get list.

Had my first Diesel Whiskey Row Thursday, tried one ROTT. The cold draw had that Whiskey twang to it, which translated very well into the flavor profile. Construction was great, perfect draw and almost perfect burn line. Lots of smoke output, and overall a very nice smoke. Glad I box a box of them, thanks Ryan Tombstone for talking me into giving them a try!

I am an enabler. Some times I have arguments with the staff at the B&M that I don't "need" more cigars. He is wrong and I let him know this. Hope they age well. Mine have not lasted long enough to tell

Smoked a little CAO Flathead Steel Horse robusto last night. Disappointing to me because every other Flathead I have smoked before was excellent. This one was not; it was not as good as the budget Villiger Selecto Toros I've been smoking lately.

With so many blends and cigars on the market sometimes I get away from the original outfits like Oliva. This had 18 months on it and damn....I’d put it up against any of the boutiques that I’ve been scooping up. Great cigar that’s seriously blossomed into WOW factor!

Just finished a light run and some yard work and am currently enjoying a 5 Vegas "A" (maduro) "Animal" (perfecto). Mrs. Bruck politely observed that it resembles a turd, an observation with which I'm compelled to agree. Tastes better though :) (no, I haven't actually smoked a turd for comparison, but I have smoke a Ron Mexico so I have the general idea)

I eyeball those every time I place an order, I guess I will put them on my to get list.

Had my first Diesel Whiskey Row Thursday, tried one ROTT. The cold draw had that Whiskey twang to it, which translated very well into the flavor profile. Construction was great, perfect draw and almost perfect burn line. Lots of smoke output, and overall a very nice smoke. Glad I box a box of them, thanks Ryan Tombstone for talking me into giving them a try!

Missed this when you posted it. Yep, it’s a stunner. If you’re a fan of bold Nicaraguan tobaccco with broadleaf wrappers, it’s hard to beat. I’ve heard the Umbagog by D&T uses similar tobacco and the same wrapper but is a budget smoke. I’ve yet to try it tho.

Saturday I had another new one to me, Man O' War Immortal. Didn't know what to expect, especially ROTT. It turned out to be a nice smoke, great draw and burn line, nice smooth creamy flavor profile. Very enjoyable stick, might have to try the Ruination next time

Just finishing off a Villazon Maduro that I started on the way home from the lobotomy ward :)

I'd never heard of them but a BOTL co-worker was getting some & I hopped in on his order. Pretty good - added them to my list of good cheapies. According to Cigars Internation, I'll "find hearty, toasty notes of warm tobacco, crisp peppery spice, and hints of dark chocolate." I did get some pepper but other than that, It's just a decent cigar. Burned well, even in the breezy cab of Maybelline (F150).

I've had the knife for a long while , maybe40 - 50 -60 years ,had completely forgotten about it.
The cigar. The Seleccion Del Sol is my No. 1 smoke at a 50 Ring Gauge. Wish Garcia had kept at least one Seleccion Del Sol of any size or shape in production.
