As have I. It was a good smoke and I liked it but it was a little on the stronger side for my taste. I'd smoke it again and maybe buy a few more if I came across them at a good price but I'm not out looking for more at this point. I gave it a "great" and not an "excellent".

As has been the norm for me, I have all of BLTC's offerings except the killer bee. I've only smoked the Bishops Blend, which I liked so much I bought a box! Ive also smoked the S&R, but need to revisit. I've yet to smoke any of the others but have heard great things about.
Gonna make a point to get to them in the near future, probably this week and weekend if this rain gives me a break.
Plus I'm doing doubles all week covering for a coworker's vacation.

Been on a early 80's kick recently. Which got sidetracked into a great 72 show from Old Renaissance Faire Grounds in Veneta, Oregon. There is a dvd out of this concert as well. Great show, but they all are imho.

Hmmmmm. The Mystics I've smoked have suited me quite well, I'm a sucker for Sumatra wrappers. The 'real Sumatra' to me the leaf not grown in Asia lacks a certain quality or taste.If that's the case would think soil and climatic conditions are not that hundred percent right for it. Tho some times if I'm concentrating I'll be aware of changes or transitions in a cigar when smoking, but most of the time can't put a name to them.Good tobacco, whtever that means, is what I look for in a cigar, do like spice, pepper, do not like heavy Nicotine.
Hope you picked up only a couple of the Revolutions before finding that you don't like them.

I too like everythin that the dead dd (Dead did ?) Will look for it, tend to get on a Dead kick and have to from time to time back off listening to them,otherwise it can turn into days & nights of the Dead at expense of other things that need a bit of attention.

Yes I've only bought these one at a time just to try them. I keep trying these (and the Ovation) in order to convince myself to like the whole San Cristobal line because I love the Elegancias, but it's just not working out.

I’ve never seen this one before, and being 33x5 was a bit intriguing as I like some of the smaller cigars from Nat Sherman and CAO. This was just under $4 but figure that’s partly Island pricing.

I honestly felt like the first draw tasted like cigarettes do when you’ve quit for a period of time and then smoke one (I often wondered what I was thinking many of those times but kept putting anyway). But after that it mellowed out nicely. I wouldn’t say it was a $4 smoke though. The Nat Sherman Point Fives and CAO Karats are much better and half that price, though they are just 4” long and 34/38 ring. I’d buy them again if the price was similar enough though.

I just wanted to say I love your compositions. They always make we want to sit down, relax, and smoke a cigar.

Last one for tonight is another LHC Oscuro Fuerte. Wanted to make sure the last one I loved wasn’t a fluke. I think I’ve found a new favorite budget smoke. Which is why I just bought a box on CBid for $45! These have 8 months, so I’ll be patient.

I rested some for a few months. They make a good early morning smoke when my pallet isn't quite ready for a full strength stick. With some age they seem to gather a little dimension, but still super mild.

Grass didn’t hold up well while I was gone so I’m spending Friday watering (yeah!). And so I decided to pull another smoke I picked up, which is something I’ve not seen. And usually I don’t go for anything larger than a 50 ring as I’m just a little guy (unless it’s box pressed of course) but decided for $7 and that maybe being 6” it would burn close to what a Churchillwould, I took it.

I assume $7 was Island prices and I can’t say I felt it was worth quite that. And then again my idea of pricing is what I see online so it may not be fair anyway. Not a bad smoke but I’ve had better cheaper smokes. But then that’s subjective now isn’t it?

I know what you're saying. I've been smoked four out of the last five weekends at the Funny Farm. It'll be brutal hot, humid or both on Saturday, but it'll rain like hell Saturday night or Sunday morning and shut down my tractor work for the rest of the weekend. Last weekend we had a cow die RIGHT in the field where I was going to disc for the upcoming dove season and the wind perfect to want you to never have a desire to consume any form of food ever again if one had the hankering to go north and/or west of the pretty cow and his band of new vulture friends. Just incredible the smell that can come from several hundred pounds of rotting beef....

I know what you're saying. I've been smoked four out of the last five weekends at the Funny Farm. It'll be brutal hot, humid or both on Saturday, but it'll rain like hell Saturday night or Sunday morning and shut down my tractor work for the rest of the weekend. Last weekend we had a cow die RIGHT in the field where I was going to disc for the upcoming dove season and the wind perfect to want you to never have a desire to consume any form of food ever again if one had the hankering to go north and/or west of the pretty cow and his band of new vulture friends. Just incredible the smell that can come from several hundred pounds of rotting beef....

This Evening. Esteban Carreras Mr. Brownstone Grande Toro Smack...6x52. Dont' smoke a lot of Maduros but this is one I really do enjoy.Hotter than a Full f---ed Fox in a Forrest Fire today.
Tired to smoke the cigar on front porch but quickly switch to the Air Conditioned indoors. One very nice smoke. Draw a little tight at first then opened up and was excellent all the way to the nub.

Burn time. Two Hours and Seven Minutes.

Drove up to KC yesterday with my daughter and Granddaughter to meet up with my middle son who drove down from Omaha. Ate some fantastic Prime beef ribs at Jacks Stack BBQ followed by my son and I smoking a couple of Opus #5's on the hotel patio overlooking the KC skyline. We had a great time.

Just finishing off an Alec Bradley Henry Clay that I started on the way home from the hornet farm :)

It has an interesting flavor profile that I was trying to place when I realized it tastes like a Brohiba.

I did invest quite a bit on chain, rope and duct tape at first, but along came zip ties which made our relationship so much easier to deal with. I hope yours is as much fun......

As Lazylightning said "Another brutally hot day" sitting in the Sunlight,porch mostly glassed in, no fan Humidity at 18 degrees and that temperature...122F.

Pre light draw is a little tight. Wrapper tastes like green pepper, and the draw pre lit was like alfalfa. This was ROTT and was pretty good. The first third was pretty basic, with just tobacco and a bit of pepper. The 2nd and final thirds seemed to open up nicely with some hickory and vanilla. The burn was a problem, had to touch up the burn line 4 times. I think with a few months of rest they will be phenomenal.

Just finished off an El Rey Del Mundo that I started on the way home from the paperclip jungle. No idea who makes it. Was part of a trade with a BOTL at work - for 300 rds of 7. 62x54R he gave me 10 assorted sticks, most of which I'd never heard of. I only asked for 6 but he insisted :) Anyway, good cigar, better than my usual dreck :)

Stopped by the liquor store to pick up a grass watering smoke and saw this for just under $3. Smelled similar to a Cohiba and the first pull had a subtle similarity. Since then it’s been rather mild. Might go well with an IPA I suppose.

I always think these look pretty strong and scary and this one was a whopping 56 ring gauge but I can't lie - it was excellent, as have been all of the Mi Querida I have smoked. I'd take this over a Liga any day.

Funny you should ask - I grabbed one of the sticks you sent me for tonight's golf league. Nirvana Cameroon, oh I do love me some Cameroon wrapper, and it didn't disappoint. In fact this great smoke brought me in at even par Tom - you sprinkle some good golf juju on it before you packed it up ?

Cuba Libre One was always my favorite budget smoke. I was sad to see them out of stock for a long, long time. Thought the line had gone extinct. I was ecstatic to see them on CBid again. Been anxiously awaiting this one. Knew these needed rest. After 6 months, it’s just as I remembered. Punches way above it’s price point.
