2 I had this past week before the weekend rains came in. Warped Futuro and a Warped Maestro. part of a 4 cigar sampler with two of each. smoked with about 2 weeks rest. Think they are different blends but both tasted good to me, medium strength with nice flavors. My first two of this brand and already looking to get some more. Nice smoke with flavor and hit the spot.

Let us know how those Van Winkles smoke when you get to them.Yea, that's one if the perks of buying at a B&M. Prices might be high, but consumer service is top notch. Then again I probably drop a couple Ks in this shop, so let's just say I got some of it back lol.

As far as the pappys, I've already smoked a few and i have to say they're the best stick in the DE roaster. Very balanced, and smooth with woody and light hearty notes. I'll give a more detailed opinion when I have one in my hand.

I've had bad experiences letting the Ligas sit for more then six months. I've had similar conversations with others and they've agreed that the Liga line does not age well. It will still smoke fine, but the profile will be one dimensional. Both are great sticks, I enjoy the T52 better. To me it's a bit fuller.

I enjoy the No. 9 (not as much as the T52) but I have only had the Belicoso size, no problems with the wrapper for those.

I enjoy the T52 far more than the No. 9s. I feel like the No. 9s sometimes give off a harsh flavor, whereas the T52 is always smooth and chocolatey

I agree with the others. The T52 is a great friggin cigar and worth the price. I might sound like a heretic, but I actually like the Undercrown more than the No. 9 and it's half the price.

But don't get me wrong: the No. 9 is a luxurious smoke and totally worthy of a good occasion. It's mostly that the Undercrown Robusto is one of my favorite cigars ever.

There are few things I Iove more in life than the Pepin pepper blast. This one is extraordinary. And I get them in the singles section of CBid for around $4 regularly.

I'm not much for the heat either so I just don't camp much anymore. I seemed to spend as much time in the truck with the A/C going as outside. We have eight old farts (me included) going to the farm tomorrow for a crappie fishing trip. We're going to hang out at the farm during the day and fish at night as the fishing sucks during the day anyhow. It's either too hot during the day, or too dark to see at night. Maturity is a wonderful thing....

I've read that Padron uses mostly the same tobacco for their blends, it's just a difference of aging. If you're patient with the thousand series, they'll taste really high end.

The cigars! It could be inconsistencies from one cigar to the next, but this one, which had close to six months on it, was much more nuanced and sweet than those I smoked at the three month mark. Lesson learned. This is why I need to get one of those cool cigar journals. I think that'll be a good birthday request.

Fellow allergy sufferer here. I've found that a nice Neti-Pot does wonders (that and Flonase). It clears everything out and provides enough temporary relief to actually taste my cigar. I try to do it before every smoke session, even when I don't have allergies. It's kind of a ritual and I truly think it helps my palate. Gotta be careful about water sterilization, though.

I have tried that but it never seems to help too much and no way I could handle it daily ! I don't get it in the sinuses but usually a little wheezy in the chest with a bit of a cough. Never take any sinus meds but I do the shots once a month and that usually keeps everything in check. Cough is almost gone so I'm back to my daily smoke !

Today is Bruck's and Mrs. Bruck's 30th anniversary. Wrapping up a long weekend of celebration with, what else, a Graycliff 30 Year Vintage, one of my all-time favorite sticks even on non-30th-anniversaries :)

Congratulations to both Bruck & Mrs. Bruck, keep on celebrating, every day...they're ALL special.

I purchased one of each a year or so ago and both the draws were tighter than Kelsey's nuts.....

Smoked a second one of the Naturals, and after just a few puffs the draw was really good, least how for so thin a twig.
It didn't even get too hot even tho it lasted only an hour, the first Natural burnt twelve minutes longer.
Luck of the draw ??
