The PDR rep was here on Wednesday and left a care package for me. I was going to light up my pipe after lunch but I decided to hold off because this A. Flores Gran Reserva Corojo Half Corona was really calling to me.

This thing is awesome! Strong, really spicy, loads of flavor, and the 3.5" size is perfect for when I'm running around the store trying to get work done.

I meant to post earlier so I'll just do some catching up for the week. Tried a few new ones.

CAO Pilon - Surprisingly good since I never liked the first CAO I had, but this one has me coming back.
San Cristobal Revelation - Nice cigar with some spice and low nic. It was smooth and complex though the spice kind of drowned the flavor during the 2nd 3rd. The 1st and 3rd were awesome.
DPG Blue Label lancero - 1st lancero and loved it!!! That's really all I have to say about that.

Seems I'm smoking more cigars in this 4 - 4.5 -4.75 inch range and 48-50 ring gauge of late.
Smoking on a cold,too cold front porch may have something to do with these finding their way into my hands of late.

My Father limited Edition Corona...5x42. After a long rest in the humidor selected this one and lit it...right there, with that first puff an retrohale...that ever so welcome Don Pepin Garcia trademark pepper.This one had that long,long resting time,Thursday night, all,all day and night Friday and that is more than enuff time, do love these once they've been aged so long.

Heading to Front Porch with a bit of luck the Sunshine hitting there will enable me to smoke in relative comfort this just ignited.
Cubao #1...6.5x49 which is in reality like to be finished indoors, if the temp drops a lot.

Edit: Theres a wee mustiness, for want of a better name, once the cigar is cut, just before lighting.
Maybe, just maybe tghis is one of the Don Pepin Garcia Cubaos.
Expect I should've been paying more attention to the last one, smoked a day or two ago.

First of this line I've had a chance to smoke, courtesy of Tim (Cardinal) quite impressed by quality of this cigar, right at 45 minutes...packed a whole lot of pleasure into this slender cigar. Proof, if needed, that good things can indeed be found in a small packages .

Sadly, that has left very little time for a good cigar. In fact, this is my 3rd since 2016 started. Today however, I spent the morning and afternoon in bankruptcy court, and my life looks like it is finally heading in the right direction, so now it is time to celebrate. Don't think I forgot about any of you bums, you are my people!

Los Calaveras 2014 LC 754...7x54. One of the my very few remaining.
A little more than two hours burn time, rather fast for me,perhaps due to the low temp.

Hope to provide a pretty accurate answer, so doing a bit of figuring now.

1.Sunset in the west three hours and thirty nine minutes after I woke up today. at that time the Moon was well up in the sky to the east.

2. Not too certain how much the techtonic plates crushing the coasts has shorted the real distance recently....more calculating to do right here.

3. I'm a few hundred feet south of the Diana Radar used to bounce the first signal off the Moon.

The Radar unit itself being quite close to the Marconi Hotel, tho a bit nearer to where I am right now, directly across the Shark River from Marconi's place and at same elevation above Sea level.

6. If driving, don't think that could be accomplished in a straight line, so will have to check road maps I expect for that distance in miles.

Saturday afternoon cigar.
My Father #3 Crema...6x49. Not ROTT,gave it twenty six hours of Humidor rest, then ignited the cigar, smooth as could be, a very good medium strength cigar,with an even burn line,cool all the way to the nub.Along with the cool sounds of Marie Frisker flowing from the speakers, and... some good Coffee.
Good relaxing time.

This was a cigar of dualities for me!

Flavor was awesome, dense amazing flavor!

But burn issues right off the bat. Required several touch ups and two relights.

Then it hit the second half and developed a razor sharp, perfect burn.

All said and done, it was a great cigar and I'm very thankful to my fellow BOTL for expanding my horizons!

Ok, glad I'm not a fast smoker, else would've finished this Corona,think calling it a Short corona would've been accurate, but if the maker thinks it should considered a Corona. Glad you enjoyed it. I had the same issues with the burn on the last one from that batch as well, but my first one was fine. For what I paid on cbid I'll allow the occasional burn issue.

Debonaire Habano robusto. Got this in a promotional sampler. Reminded me of a cross between a Le Bijou 1922 (dense stonefruit like flavor body), Diamond Crown (sweet notes) and maybe CORO (charred meat spice).
Surprised me will probably grab at least a 5 pack. Thought the date was neat too.

Before cutting noticed that the cap looked exceptionally well done, and the cigar's was ever so smooth.Smoked great,might almost think that that one cigar had been rolled by Don Pepin or perhaps by Jaime to show a roller how it should be done, before placing it amongst the others on the rolling table.Anyway it was one very fine smoke.

I am definitely concerned for your streak so I wanted to give you a heads up far enough in advance that this year is a leap year. I mean I dont want you to have 28 in the humi and run one day short you know. With the 2 or 3 walk in humidors I envision you having at this point after watching your pictures for a year or so, I dont think this will be a concern but I am just looking out for you.

Yesterday's smokes were...Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 50 Years Gold Box Pressed...5x55 from an unexpected tho not
unwelcome,package that landed earlier in the week. Haven't smoked many Carlos Torano cigars of late, and most of
those I have burned were Carlos Torano Casa Torano Robustos and Toros. They were box buys that impressed with consisent quality and freshness.
This Exodus 1950 Gold had those qualities plus from start to finish.
The second cigar smoked was a Warped Flor Del Valle las Brumas...4.5x48.
Despite a rather uneven burn line over the first half was an enjoyable smoke.
Only smoked one other cigar today, and that belongs in another forum.

So how was it?!
Have heard a lot of good about them.

I really liked it! I let them sit for several weeks after transit. Very full of flavor but really smooth. Especially on the retrohale. I normally try to retrohale every 3-5 draws but it was so good I was retrohaling every draw or two. Draw was excellent, burn was excellent. Tons of complex flavor. I got a good 1:45 out of it and I was smoking fast. If you expect a #9 or a T52 you may be dissapointed. If you don't expect it to be a typical Liga you might really like it. I did!

I may have to invest in more than the 5er I got.

H.R. Sublimes...6.5x54. This cigar made by Hirochi Robaina is one fine smoke top quality all the way.
Two Hours and twenty one minutes of pure smoking pleasure on a pleasantly warm day.
If limited to only a single size, brand...this might well be it, at least for me.
