Saturday Afternoon.. San Cristobal Seleccion Del Sol Fireplug...4.5x50. Didn't want to smoke this cigar, only a couple left, but it was just too tempting. Hopefully Don Pepin Garcia will bring the Del Sol back, tho I doubt it'll happen any time soon. Smoked slowly to eke out every last wisp of smoke, still ended with me wanting more.

EXCELLENT!!
It's a bit windy so had a few minor burn issues once I got the thing lit. But it smoked like a champ. Great flavor, long finish. Really like this cigar.

Monday's Cigar. E. P. Carrillo La Historia EIII box Pressed Toro...6.7x54. Outside of my usual size, needed only one touch up, and that was shortly after lighting.
Good volume of smoke nice retrohale, slow burning, never harsh....a good smoke.
Burn time: Two Hours and Twenty One Minutes.

Haven't posted my smokes lately, but I've been smoking through a big batch of various Diesel cigars for the last week or two. I have enjoyed most of them; had a Diesel "Rage" last night that was excellent, but this morning had a "Wicked" torpedo that was rolled too tightly. Was only able to smoke about 2/3rds of it before I gave up on it. So I've got mostly good things to say about Diesel cigars, but have had two out of this batch that were sub-par, including the one this morning.

His scar runs from the bottom of his sternum straight down about 5". It is sealed up completely now and we are hopeful it will fade as he continues to grow. You can still see where they shaved him on the side facing the camera here. All the other places they shaved have grown back, that section is taking it's time, but will fill back in eventually.

My last Zino Classic, now discontinued. A good mild-medium with copious amounts of smoke. Always had the thinnest wrapper I've ever seen on a cigar. Apparently a few still to be had online @ about $7 per. Not sure they are worth that but always enjoyed them back in the day @ cbid prices. Yes, he has been, as a rescue from the Humane Society it's mandatory before you can finalize the adoption. They grew really fast, but he is in the middle of a growth spurt all over as well.

He's keeping alert. You're not going to spring something like that on him again. Not if he can help it.
LOL, yea it's going to be hard to ever pull one over on him again. We pray nothing this serious ever happens again though, for everyone's sake.

This was my first of these. I thought it was pretty good. It was complex enough. Burn was very straight. The ash dropped medium easy, but that could be a factor of a little smaller RG.

Thank you. Yes sir, still on vacay. First one away from home in almost 3 years. My employer instituted a use-it-or-lose-it time off policy: no more carryover. Better use it up! Enjoying the time and being able to smoke a few cigars, outside no less. Been a bit difficult with the cold weather back home. If you haven’t noticed, I have been a bit sparse lately. I always check in, but sometimes a little irregularly. Work and family have been busy and will continue to be so. I think the 4 or so cigars I’ve smoked this week so far are more than what I have smoked in the last couple of months. Certainly enjoying being able to catch up with my fellow bums a bit.

Mid Afternoon Thursday. Vegas Cubanas Corona...5.5x44. Now that the last few San Cristobal Del Sol Fireplug cigars an these Vegas Cubanas Cororinas are the only N C smokes I have I'm testing my thought that I'd be ok if these (the Vegas Cubanas) were the only cigars available to smoke, day after day. Since I've only a few of the Del Sols, really trying make 'em last.
Thinking back a fair ways I usually had only one or two brands or sizes of cigars on hand so little or no variety, and that was ok. Now?

Tried a new stick from Providencia called the Trinitas during our trip down to Good Fellas Lounge in Somers Point. Was not impressed with the stick, but if anyone is ever around the Ocean City, NJ area definitely stop in the lounge, great place.

Had a lovely JR Nicaraguan Overrun on the way home from the cheese maze :) Tasted pretty good, but at one point I flicked the ash out the window and the entire wrapper blew off and with it some of the flavor.
